Il est doté d'une barre de verrouillage de 9/16 po de haut qui s'étend sur 5 1/2 po de long et peut s'adapter sur des panneaux de verre de vitrine jusqu'à 5/16 po d'épaisseur. Cette serrure est entièrement réglable pour s'adapter à divers alignements de fermeture, elle est facile à installer et elle utilise la rainure de clavette ILCO 1000X. Clés fournies avec le dispositif de verrouillage. No escape for the danger noodle!

We purchased this to put on the sliding glass doors of a snake enclosure. It works well and gives us piece of mind that we aren't going to be surprised to find an escapee in the snake room.

Perfect to keep my babies in place

Installed locks on our custom enclosures to keep the snakes in and the kiddos and puppies out!! Love that they are very secure and do not have much "play" or extra movement when locked

I have a sliding glass door for our shower, and my 15 month old loves crawling into the shower and lifting up the drain and playing in the scummy water (yuck!!!!). I was wondering how to lock-down the door when I thought about how in jewelry shops, they use these slide locks to secure the glass cases. I decided to give it a try and let me report to you all: It works!! Installation was less than 30 seconds, and now we can keep the little one out of the shower. It's been up for a few months now, and obviously this wasn't made for wet environments, as the screw is starting to rust a little. We keep the key in the lock, and just installed it high enough that the kids couldn't reach it, so locking and unlocking it is near-instantaneous. If you don't own a jewelry shop, but have little kids and a sliding glass shower door that they get into (yeah, I'm looking at both of you out there in the world, lol), this lock is perfect for you!

Ok locks

Good locks work great for what i need them for. Only 2 problems. 1. they will slide off if enough pressure is applied so probably not a good route for something sensitive like a gun case or precious valuables. 2. they are a little on the thick side so I would recommend using them maybe with 3/16 and above doors. Mine are 1/8 in and they rub against the locks making it a little tough to slide. They have not scratched or harmed the glass but I imagine it would do major damage to acrylic. Also I was hoping for keyed alike. I ordered 3 and I now have to keep up with 3 sets of keys. Still great locks would recommend.

Does the job

We bought this to replace one that had a missing key. I tried to pick the lock and the entire tumbler fell out which I kind of like. It makes me think that it would be difficult for someone to open and close it without leaving evidence of tampering. It's also very possible I'm just terrible at picking locks. This item is just fine for my purposes.

Its a lock

I mean, what can I say? It looks the sliding glass panel on my snake enclosure just fine. The rubber foot on the compression screw was torn on arrival, while not a deal breaker, I have to pull some stars for it. I have to hot glue it back on. Lock mechanism ratchets nicely and otherwise there are no complaints. But for what I paid, I didnt expect to have to fix it before installing
