Works as intended

I bought this product because I thought it looked more stylish and high end than other fan switches I had seen in lowes and home depot. It has all the functionality I wanted. The box behind the switch is large and I had to smash the wires into my gang box, but that was no problem at all. I also have a larger dimming switch beside it which fit fine with this in there. Two notes for this product (and why it is 4 stars), the white is a little bit off from my two other switches but is hardly noticeable. Secondly, unlike other wiring in my home this switch does not have holes in the back to push in my electrical wiring. Wires had to be joined with wire nuts which is not a problem at all. It's exactly what I wanted.

Didn't work for my applicatrion

Well, in looking at the product, it was assembled well and seemd to be a nice prioduct. It just didn't work for my application so I am returning these. I bought two and opened one. I was going to try the other switch but didn't feel it was the switch. I bought a different brand and that one works for my application

Nob broke after a little more than two months of use.

The knob for the slide broke after a little more than two months of light use. There are four very small tabs that hold the knob to the slider and one of them broke off. Beware that this seller must have a very short window to exchange. I went through the return process and asked if I could return the item at my cost to the seller for an exchange and was denied. Next time I will just go to one of the big box home stores. Very disappointed with the seller.

4 SPEED SWITCH

SWITCH IS EASY TO INSTALL BUT LIKE SOME OTHERS 1 IS FAST AND 4 IS SLOW KINDA BACKWARDS. BUT WORKS JUST FINE

did not work properly

Did not work at the 4 speed I needed it for. It only worked 2 speeds. Might have just been a faulty unit, I kept it cause I had no other choice.

Fast - Slow & In between

Great replacement. Watch Jane turn on the fan. Watch it go faster and faster. Watch Dick slow down the fan. Watch it go slower and slower. Watch the fan stop.

Great switch

Easy to install, shipped really fast would recommend this item to my friends as a replacement switch. My fan is 5 speed but this worked out.
