The only product on the market that fit my needs
This is seriously the only thing on the planet I think that would work for my situation. Cut a hole through a stucco and wood wall to allow my mail into the garage. Cutting the hole was the hard part, but installing the unit was easy. The biggest problem was that they did not include the drill bits for their weird screws. Fortunately, I dug around and found some that worked. They really need to include those drill bits! This thing is built like a tank. It’s perfect so far. Way overpriced, but I didn’t have a choice. Knocking a star off because of the price and the missing drill bits.

Well built ... with one drawback
I replaced an ancient brass wall mounted mail slot with this product (and the proper matching faceplate) and I must say it is a well built, clean designed product. Outstanding strength, good powder coating, good design. In my case, the slot goes through about 3 inches of a hard insulating product, and through 1/8" thick birch plywood (the finished wall) and empties into a basket on the floor. HOWEVER, there is one drawback which I would suggest for the manufacturer. My chute extends through a finished surface, which was cut to size with a jigsaw. The edge is not perfect.I might experiment with some silicone sealer to clean up the edge, but the manufacturer should offer a simple machine cut plate that give a 1" frame around the interior and can be glued or screwed to the wal to make the interior as pretty as the exterior. I still think it is an excellent product.

Best mailbox ever.
The mailbox we had was installed in a house that was built 70 years ago. It was cheap and poorly designed. Although this unit is crazy expensive and not the simplest of installations, it is great. We no longer come home from a vacation with mail stuffed in our box or torn up mail from being forced through. The best built and best designed box I have ever seen because now mail easily slides through with no hang ups.

High quality, very sturdy, easy to install
Used a wallboard hand saw and nippers to cut through outside stucco and then through garage wallboard. Inserted the chute and sealed with silicone for a weather tight fit at the stucco. Fit my wall 6" depth perfectly. Take your time and remeasure often for a very nice result. I bought the Qualarc Letter Plate for Liberty Chute, bronze color, as the cover. I checked the US Postal regulations beforehand to be sure of the height details (see their web site). Final step was to attach a copy of my Managed Service Point postal bar code sticker (smudged out in photo).

Good quality
Very heavy duty, but I highly recommend getting the door that’s listed with this. They are two matched parts. Only negative is that the mail slot is standard letter width, the listing it makes it sound like it’s larger than it is.

One piece very solid
Our wall was thicker than normal. This fits perfectly and is very sturdy.
