Superior Mailbox

Installation was difficult, however it was pretty sturdy and well made for the price. No problems. I'd buy again!

It locks and is sturdy

We needed a sturdy locking mailbox that would hold up to the outdoor elements and blend with the existing multiple mailbox stand at our development. This mailbox meets all of our needs.

Not a quick DIY project!

No instructions. Only hardware is 4 bolts, 4 washers, and an allen wrench. This mailbox has 4 holes on the bottom to mount directly to a post with bracket from underneath. We had to get very creative to put it together. Added labels to help with issues noted in other reviews and handle to lockbox for when we want to accept or leave larger packages there. Outgoing mail area is very small.

EASY for crooks to pop open

Nice box UNTIL some scumbag sticks a big screwdriver in at the top and simply pops it open in 2 seconds ...they just did FIVE of this same box most of us on my street have sorry but it's totally NFG ...there is another brand that has a hardened hook style lock bar and the two neighbors with these were left alone....mail crooks did not waste their time for whatever reason which I assume is the lock bar ....bout our boxes were ALL mangled badly ...so for pretty much the same money I ordered the other one to replace this flimsy POS

Mail is secured, no worries about theft.

Its durability is great, no worries about theft. We did have to drill new holes for the box to fit on post. Good investment, it will last for years. We can leave mail unchecked for days.

nice mail box keeps your mail safe and dry and out of thieves hands unit your ready to get it. I have had my mail stolen and this mail box helps with this problem. well worth the money for the peace of mine. set it on a post and your ready to go.

Confusing for postman

There is an extra pocket underneath the mail slot. It is confusing most mail delivery people. They keep leaving mail in little pocket, which is not locked. Not sure of the purpose of this pocket. Also that pocket is not very obvious in the marketing pictures.

Wet mail!!

I ordered this mail box to replace an old homemade box that leaked. When I received it the corner was dented which I was given a discount for. Now it leaks when it rains. My mail, which included cheques, is soaking wet. Not impressed.
