Perfect kickstand spring for my KLR650 with modified kickstand.

I lowered my KLR-650 2 inches and bought a shortened adjustable kickstand to ensure the bike wouldn't tip over when the kickstand was down due to the lowering. Unfortunately the kickstand springs that came with the kickstand didn't have near enough tension. The kickstand would bounce up and down going over any bumps. Since the kickstand is not a standard kickstand I had to improvise. One of these 3 1/8 inch springs solved the problem and now I have a spare should the spring ever break. The kickstand now lowers and raises like it did when I had the original OEM Kawasaki kickstand on the bike before I lowered it. I did use an inexpensive exhaust spring puller tool to get the spring in place; it made the job easy.

Strong springs

Worked well on an old porch glider that was soft under the cushions. Used with 1" steel strapping. Don't stretch the springs more than 1/4" - 3/8" or the spring will no longer close all the way. (You will have changed its "springiness.") That's the scientific/technical term I pulled out of my a**.

not for replacement for gate latch

In the reviews it was mentioned this spring was great for gate latch replacement spring. The spring was too large and did not work for my normal size gate latch.

Worded good for a vintage bouncing horse

These worked good to replace the springs on a vintage bouncing horse. Kids love that thing and its older than me! Somethings never go out of style! IMO. I thought they were a little expensive for what they are but that can vary with each person!

I didn't realize it was this robust

This was too strong for my needs, but it's a quality product and strong. Shipping was very fast, as well and i would definitely recommend it; if you're looking for a strong extension spring.

Fiots Tesla Model 3 "Frunk" latch mechanism

This is a slightly softer spring than comes stock on the Tesla Model 3 front trunk or "frunk" latch mechanism. This spring makes it so that you don't require as much pressure when pushing down on the hood to latch it.
