Good quality, but a little heavy
I bought these for use with a saddle, but obviously they would work great with a hang-on stand too. They were one of the cheaper options, so I wasn’t expecting much. The fastener to attach to the tree has been great so far. They feel sturdy as I came. The grips are a little tough on the hands, so I’d recommend gloves while climbing. The set of 4 is also pretty heavy. I only carry 3 with me, and fasten them together with a Velcro strap. They will need to be wrapped for sound dampening.

Overall positive, but has some negative features.
I am using these for a permanent stand location , so the extra weight is not a problem. The sticks are easy to assemble out of the package. They are also easy to mount on a tree. My two main dislikes are 1) how aggressive the step traction is. Gloves are a must, or they will dig into your skin. 2) because the sticks are so long, when you grab the bottom step, the entire stick pivots off the tree. I would not feel safe if I wasn’t using a lifeline in conjunction with these steps. The pro is that these steps are cost effective and allow for getting higher in the tree with fewer sticks. I am using 6-7 steps to get ~26’. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Clunky and hard to transport
The sticks are solid, once they're up in a tree and you don't plan on moving them till seasons over. Very hard to transport distances due to inability to stack and stay together. Foot platforms have constantly gotten flipped up on me because it caught my boot string or whatever else. Like I said, reliable once you put it up, but don't expect to be able to move spots quickly, quietly, or effectively.

Review
Missing hardware. When I opened it it literally looked like someone rushed the packaging and just threw everything in there without making sure all the hardware was in there. As far as light weight, if you’re wanting to be able to move around pretty quickly get a different climbing stick set. With all 4 it weighs about 20 lbs so quick mobility isn’t really possible. Overall will it get the job done in the woods yes. As far as packaging it’s awful.

So far has worked
Assembly required and tools not provided, nor are instructions. I have assembled 2 different ways and the tree hugger part freely spins still (i have tightened bolts to point they are beginning to bend center post). The straps work but are large for the product. The steps are large enough to provide a steady platform so will give these that.

Straps need improvements
Product will be safer with ratchet straps and should be strapped on top and bottom, I will be buying additional straps for my set

Heavy but durable
These are heavy, but durable. The cut pattern on the steps is awesome for foot grip, but pretty rough on your hands. Would be good for a permanent set up, not great for walking in and out every time
