Easy to follow and fun
First time I tried tie dyeing. You still have to get salt or vinegar and the shirt, but it has everything else you need to make the designs in the pamphlet. You can actually dye 4 shirts with this kit. I found it to be a fun project and for one of the shirts, I used the rubber bands and made my own design

Great value
Great kit. You get full size bottles of both the dye and fixative, plus all the accessories. I tend to get a little messy with my art projects to I really loved having printed directions on the various techniques to avoid having to touch my phone to watch videos! :) I used about a half a bottle to dye 12 cotton napkins. Happy with the results!

Great tie dye kit
I love the color 'indigo' and this kit did not disappoint. The instructions were clear, wonderful patterns and ideas, all parts came with the kit. I did some awesome tie dyed shirts and a sweatshirt. I would highly recommend this kit! Frankly I need to purchase another one, because my son liked my results, he borrowed the kit to use himself!!!

Very good Starter
Has simple instructions and all the tools you'll want. Depending on the style you choose you may want to dilute to 1/4 concentration. Most of these Rit Dye bottles have about a cup of dye. If you want to apply you will need a bottle to do so. Sorry about the sideways pictures. This is after about 9 dyed shirts this was not a first attempt.

Save your money.
You can buy this dye in any store. I bought the kit for the plates, but they were way too small for my project. I followed the directions and it said to submerge for just a little while - maybe that's where I went wrong? My duvet came out BLUE. Like primary blue. It looks awful, but I can't find an affordable white cotton duvet to try again, I got the one I have now at Bargain Hunt. My fold technique and everything else was perfect. I used a complicated fold and got exactly what I wanted, except for the color. If you're going to try this, you should at least double the amount of dye you use. Maybe triple it. But keep the same amount of water. The recipe this kit uses is not concentrated enough to produce an indigo color.

Have an wonderful experience with this kit.
It was really amazing experience. I had the color which I expected. A bit lighter though after drying out. But anyway I am happy with it although not bought it from Amazon.

Great stuff. Boxed well, arrived on time and worked perfectly. Used on %100 cotton, 400 tc percale pillow cases and %100 cotton 1000 ct pillow cases. Color was very vibrant.

Nice tie dye kit I was looking for some new ideas with my tie dying it’s been hard cuz everyone’s doing it right now and most of the tie dye material is gone.
