New life to old car
2002 Honda CRV FWD 235K First Honda we've owned and had the car for about 3 years and 50k miles. Recently noticed an oil leak, rough idle, and lots of noise in the front end. After the following parts from Amazon, 5-6 hours of work, $80 for alignment, and $120 to a local machine shop to press the bearings. Oil leak is gone, accelerates better than ever, front end is nice and tight, and super quiet. 1. 5 stars - Spool Valve VTEC Solenoid Assembly with Timing Oil Pressure Switch and Gasket for Honda CRV CR-V 2. 5 stars - Front - Both (2) New Front Left & Right Side Complete Strut & Spring Assembly 2002-2006 Honda CR-V 3. 4 Stars - Detroit Axle - New Complete 6pc Front Suspension Kit 2002 - 2006 Honda CR-V 4. 5 Stars - 2 x Timken 510050 Wheel Bearing 5. 5 Stars - ACDelco 46A0921A Advantage Outer Steering Tie Rod End (Forgot to order the Detroit Axle kit that included tie rod ends) 6. 5 Stars - Cardone Select 66-4207 New CV Axle (Drive Axle) Passenger 7. 5 Stars - Cardone Select 66-4206 New CV Axle (Drive Axle) Driver

fits a 2000 Honda Accord with the V6 and 5 lug bolt pattern
This bearing does fit a 2000 Honda Accord with the V6 and 5 lug bolt pattern, It is a tough bearing to remove from the housing yourself and just as difficult to press in. But it can be done. The howling sound from the left front wheel is caused by this bearing wearing out just like other information on the web indicates. Just a few suggestions. The bearing was replaced before I got to mine and the clip ring was not installed. I would purchase a spare retainer clip before starting the replacement just to be safe. The nut on the upper ball joint was also stripped and I had to cut mine off. Just in case, make sure you have a spare castle nut on hand. The top nut is hard to get to with an impact gun. Even if you use a wobble extension, it may round the corners of the nut even with a 6 point socket. So make sure you have a spare nut. Wish I wrote it down, but the site should have the right nut for you.

Bearings are printed NSK
I can also confirm both the bearings I received are printed with NSK on them. I have heard other people who ordered Timkins in the past have seen NTN and other manufacturers so Timkin is using other sources for their bearings, I beleive Timkins is basically a reseller , but in this case NSK is a good brand. Timken 510050 is the correct bearing for a 2001 accord V6 *update: it's Dec 12 2019, bearings still work, I drive this car 5 days a week. no problems so far so it's been maybe 2 years going

1999 accord for perfect!
Had to replace my wheel bearing due to me being over zealous with my impact on my axle nut. Fit perfect, should last me another 250k.

Fast shipping but doesn’t say NSK like picture also made in Korea.
Received this fast! Now to see if it’s gonna work good. Also it doesn’t say NSK?.. as you can see made in Korea? When people said Manufactured in USA? Will update this review after install hopefully everything goes great. **UPDATE** Installed these at Honda for my 05 S2000 with Dorman Wheel Hub so far flawless and my car feels so much smoother with no more jittery accelerations now to see how long they last.. but hoping fro the best i will update if anything happens! would recommend to anyone who needs rear bearing for you're S2k!

Two failures out of the box, back-to-back.
I'm not going to say that this product isn't genuine, but I have had two defective units back to back and I have never had a bad bearing from Timkin - which is why I went with them. The first unit, the seal malfunctioned and bearing grease went EVERYWHERE on the inner rim, brake caliper, steering and suspension components. It was a nightmare cleaning it up. Amazon stepped up and sent a replacement. I installed the new one with no issues and they are bad from the onset - I have the telltale grinding noise of a bad bearing. The reason I say, I'm not going to say that product isn't genuine is because, quite frankly, I have no definitive proof. All I know is that I've never had this issue before. The only thing that I did notice is that of the two bearings I ordered, one had a black and brown seal and the other had black only (I don't have ABS on this particular vehicle). The one with the black and brown seal is the one that failed, twice. The one with the two black seals (driver side) is working well, for now. I have a choice now to either stick with Timken or get a genuine Honda bearing from the dealer. I don't have the patience to disassemble the knuckle and press out the bearing AGAIN so it's highly likely I am going to the Honda dealer and spending $85+ on what should be a $25 part because I simply cannot trust this anymore.
