Well Constructed, Velcro Straps Are Short

This is a well constructed, roomy bike bag. with a smooth operating zipper but Velcro straps are short and I'm not sure how well they will hold up from vibration. Need to lengthen them a bit.

So glad I found another of these.

I have had one of these bike bags for several years but it finally wore out. I was so happy to find another as I was very happy with my first one. I like that this bike bag is simple, roomy, easy to unzip and zip while riding (I have it on my front handle bars), and it endures weather, sun, and lots of use just beautifully. This one, compared with my older one, has shorter velcro straps which made it a bit harder to get on securely on my front handle bars (navigating around and through the brake cables), but I did finally get it on. I wish the straps were a wee bit longer tho. That's the only negative. Otherwise, this is the best bike bag available.

Nice, but one big drawback.

After the zipper on my last handlebar bag stopped working (almost immediately), I started looking for a replacement. I wanted one that was big enough to hold the cable for my bike lock, but was not TOO big. Obviously a good zipper, and solid mechanism to attach to the handlebars, and some way of holding the bag if I wanted to take it with me. And of course I wanted someone durable, but discrete. This bag meets most of those goals. It could be better in the following areas: It would be nice if there were clips to attach a shoulder strap. The bag is large enough to function as a "purse" when off the bike, but you only have the short strap on top. This is not a huge problem, as I can attach other straps if I want. The more important deficiency are the velcro straps to attach the bag to the bike. These are just WAY TOO SHORT. Even with the bag right next to my handlebars, I can barely wrap the straps around my handlebars and there is little overlap. The straps seem sized for super skinny handlebars. The bag hasn't fallen off, but it makes me nervous. I don't know why they couldn't have made this straps just an inch longer.

Good basic handlebar bag with no frills but works well for the price

Good, basic handlebar bag. I didn't rate the weather resistance fabric. I ended up returning this bag simply because the size (width) was just a little too big for my children's bicycles. This bag simply just was a little too wide to easily fit between the right/left shifters and brake levers on their smaller bicycle handlebars. If it fit, I would have kept them. The schwinn bag is basic (one compartment) but works just fine for my kids to put their phone in there, some money, small snack, maybe a soda can if they wanted. The only drawback in my opinion is that the velcro straps are not long enough, but I would have fixed that with longer, wider/stronger zip ties. Like I said, it's a good, generic, basic handlebar bag. I ended up order a slightly smaller handlebar bag that was narrower (like 9") for my two son's bicycles. I really was looking a for a small, generic, simple bag that my boys could put their cellphones in.

Durable.

Bag is easy to install on handle bars. Durable enough to carry my keys, phone, wallet and is able to handle and fit my 9mm...while I'm riding my bike.

BEST BUY BAG

Perfect size for my drop bar. 9" wide, 4' deep & 6" high. Special application: Hung from my aero bars. Velcro loops short but can be extended using plastic ties. Holds it shape well. Had one before and it is color fast. Buying another for my gravel bike.

I found what I wanted!

Similar items used to be available at a local large retailer but not anymore. This is EXACTLY what I wanted to haul things on my bike!!!!

Long Term Use

I've had one of these for about 12 years. It only recently wore out. I ordered this and made sure it was the same thing. It was, so I ordered another one for my wife. Great product.

Velcro is too short to wrap around handlebars. Smaller than advertised.

Not sure what this bag is for, but it's not for handlebars, since the velcro is too short to wrap around my wrapped road bike handlebars. So it's worthless. I will try extending the straps with extra velcro that I shouldn't have to buy, but I worry about the chance the bag may fall off. It's also MUCH SMALLER than advertised. Advertised dimensions: 24.7 x 20 x 11.5 cm. Actual dimensions: 22.3 x 15.2 x 10.3 cm. A little taller if the handle is included for some reason. There's also no shoulder strap.

Small Bag

It's a small bag and the actually size is even slightly smaller than what it says on the product listing. The low cut zipper means things can fall out while you unzip the bag. It would be nice if a third Velcro is added to attach the bag to the handlebar stem. It's a nice bag if you are not carrying much.

Awkward to mount

Ok size, but awkward to mount on a mountain bike, doesn’t sit properly at all. We took off and likely should have just returned. Probably donate to goodwill.

Confusing description in the listing

This was sold as a handlebar mounted bag but all of the description stated rack mounted. I returned it because I wanted a rack mounted bag.
