Let's please all make an effort to not use fossil fuel based plastic
I use these for packing snacks. They easily wash and reuse. And if trashed, I know it won't clog up the ocean for millennia.

Small Clear Plastic Bags Stay Securely Sealed in Wet Conditions
These snack size bags are too small for a sandwich although one could cut a sandwich in half and use two of these bags I think. What I like about these bags is the 2 plastic zip pieces at the top for sealing. To try this out, I placed a piece of paper towel in the bag, sealed it, and ran water over it. When I opened the bag, the paper towel piece was still dry. I am using these bags for camping so I can keep small items sealed from moisture and/or rain such as matches, tinder, etc. Each bag also has on it in block GreenPolly with the parrot logo in front on the bottom left hand side. It makes the bags a bit easier to find than a purely clear plastic bag. These bags come in a sturdy cardboard box that when opened, shows all of the bags instead of the usual roll one expects. This box is about 2 inches wider than the bags which is not the best use of space if your kitchen is as tightly packed as mine is. I think these are good but would be better if at least sandwich sized. My rating is 4 stars because I like them for packing small items for protection in wet weather or conditions although bigger would be better as well as a less bulky container for them.

half-sandwich-sized bags with an eco twist
Reviewing: GreenPolly Resealable Zipper Bags, Snack, 200 Count These are delightful little double-gasket ziplock-type bags. They don’t have a “zipper”, you just close them with pinched fingers as we all know how to do these days. They are NOT big, maybe half a sandwich size, or a few small cookies. These are diet bags, you aren’t going to get much in them; I think they could have been twice the volume easily enough and perhaps should have been. About half the size of a standard sandwich bag. It’s cool that the feedstock for the polyethylene is sugarcane. Most of the energy embodied in these is from fossil fuels, though, as is the case with everything else you buy. Still, it’s a nice gimmick. There will never be such a thing as a truly renewable plastic bag. There are only “less bad” options when it comes to disposable stuff and a consumer society. But that said, these are nice little bags and should seal tightly. Since they won’t hold a sandwich, I’ll probably mostly use them for non-food stuff or small amounts of candy, maybe handing out our bulk gummy bears on halloween to people with young and supple pancreases. So… if you need tiny bags with double seals, and are jazzed at the idea that the embodied carbon - if not energy - came from sugar cane, might want to give these a try. I rate them 4 stars.

Spendy bags, but are a great earth friendly alternative
The GreenPolly Resealable Snack Bags with Zipper was a new brand to me. They note they are made with 100% Green Polyethylene from renewable sugarcane. It is so great to see an eco friendly bag on the market. These snack size bags are a typical bag that you can find at any store but with the benefit of them being earthy friendly. The box you see, pictured is very sturdy. I would like a different packaging. I wish there was a spot at the top that you can just grab these. The size of the box doesn't fit with what I have today and I found that I have to place these in a different location than my other bags because of it. When I open a drawer I want to be able to just grab a bag. With this box, you have to pull it out of the drawer and then open the box, close it and place back into the drawer. So not as quick as the other bags on the market. However, other than that, what is not to love about these? if you can afford the price and are earth conscious, these will be great to add to your Amazon order.

Nice snack bags
I really like that these are made from sugar cane and not fossil fuels. The bags work every bit like any other zipper snack bag (except for perhaps the priciest fancy zipper-closing ones). I haven't had any difficult pressing the seal closed or opening. THe bags are sturdy enough for snacks and are clear -- pretty much look just like any other zipper snack bag except for the company logo on the bottom corner. The biggest difference is the packaging - rather than a pop-up box, you pretty much have to open the entire box to get a bag out, and they all sort of want to slip all over the place. They're rather expensive too, but some people don't mind if it's a green alternative, so not really my place to comment on that. They're a very nice snack bag.

Expensive but green & usable
GreenPolly Resealable Zipper Bags, Snack, 200 Count: Snack size Pros: They're stated to be better for the environment, made with polyethylene from renewable sugarcane. The dimensions of the snack bag are 6.5" X 3.5" x 1.15 mil. This is a great size for some nuts or trail mix, a handful of crackers, veggie sticks, or a slim half-sandwich. I haven't had any problems with the zipper closure like some other reviewers and the bags feel plenty durable to me. Cons: Pricey! And the box is a little awkward depending on how you like to store your ziplock bags, but this isn't a huge issue for me.

Bravo GreenPolly
The GreenPolly Resealable Zipper Bags are too small to be sandwich bags, but they are great for snacks and smaller items. In fact, they make perfect, airtight bags for the fresh herbs I grow. They also zip easily and stay zipped. Best of all, I find them to be extremely strong and I reuse them. It’s almost hard to believe that they are so good, yet are an environmentally friendly, sugarcane-based bag that are not made form non-renewable fossil fuels. I actually store them in a small basket in my kitchen drawer where I have easy access to them. Overall, I highly recommend these resealable zipper bags.
