Happy "Rag" Rug

I bought this rug to offset a little reading corner by the window in my home office area. First of all, I really like this rug, and I am on the border of giving it 5 or 4 stars. The rug is thick and feels durable. The colors are lovely, and the cloth used is soft. The borders are tightly sewn, so the rug does not get mishapen, even though it has some stretch to it. However, there was a lot of loose string when you look up close, but this can be easily trimmed. I think it's just part of the manufacturing with some strings that came off from the cloth and such. It was also pretty dusty when I first unpackaged it - maybe just excess cloth lint? I am highly allergic to just about everything (cats, dust, mold, trees, pollen, etc. ????), so I gently washed and dried the rug, as I do everything new that I buy, and it stood up well in the wash and dryer, which is a plus for me!! I also ran the vacuum over it, and it did well with that as well. Some other reviews mentioned variability in color, and I could see that being possible, since it looks like maybe they are using cloth scraps (rags) left over from other projects, but I like that, because it gives the rug a more interesting look, and mine was the same color scheme that I had hoped to receive from looking at the pictures. I would purchase it again.

Incorrect colors

Colors online and actual colors received were not accurate. Almost as if I may have received completely different color scheme. But it is a nice rug.

Love this rug!

I really love the colors in this rug. Its exactly what I wanted! Its soft and feels great on my feet. It laid out perfectly when I opened it with no wrinkles or lumps. It also had no bad or musty smell as I know some of these have. Great purchase!

Nice colors

Love this carpet, nice variety of colors, brightened the entire room. However, far to large. Was disappointed to send back. Looking for this carpet in 8x10. 7.5x9.

Decent rug

Just ok

This rug is ok. I bought a purple rug, and you can see in the picture this rug does not look like the purple rug in the ad. It has a couple lavender rows, but otherwise it's just multicolor. Bummer. Rug quality seems ok enough so far. It did come with two stickers on it that pulled up fibers when they were removed; I put that side of the rug face down.

Not Green

Like many other reviewers, my rug is not green. It's multi-colored. I'm keeping it because it will still go with my decor, but it would have been much nicer had it been the right color. I plan on washing this on a hand-wash cycle, as I did my previous rag rug, but I can tell the weave isn't that tight. It's likely to fall apart pretty easily. Time will tell.

great bright colors

love this, dog hates to walk on hardwoods, perfect for a kitchen runner to the dog bowl. My second one, the other one lasted for year, just got tired of the color.
