Easier to apply than other ratings implied
I bought this product to seal loose rivet leaks in my aluminum boat. I have not put the boat on the water yet, so cannot comment on how well it worked. That's why I gave it four stars and not five. I gave it four because the product was delivered promptly including a card asking for comments and offering a 20% coupon for future purchase as well as a product support phone number. Very nice service offer that at least appears as if the company - TotalBoat - is concerned about customer satisfaction. The product came well packaged and included two dispenser tips and a container that fits any caulk gun. Other comment had me a bit worried about being able to dispense the epoxy because I don't have great hand strength, however, cautioned by instructions on the tube I laid it in front of a heat duct while I prepared the surface and then had no trouble dispensing it at all. It was easy to get out of the tube, emerged as a not overly thick and easily pliable liquid that was very easy to manipulate, and ultimately made a nice layer that looks like a good seal. I applied it to rivets in the boat's floor then again on the bottom (so overhead). It stuck and stayed well in both locations. I've used Gluvit before and been very happy with it's property of filling in along the shaft of rivets as well as over the ends. This product is a little thicker, but it also had some flow so I'm hoping, but can't say for sure, that it did the same. In a week or two after I've finished this repair and installed the new floor, I will put the boat and the water. If it works as I hope, I'll change the rating to five stars. If not - well, you may see a new message in this space, but from all appearances I expect it to perform well.

Not mixing
I’m sealing the rivets on an aluminum Jon boat, the package states first 3-4 inches will be waste until mixed. I wasted first 5” just to be sure. For the next 40 rivets it seemed to work fine, then half way through it changed colors and I was only getting the orange/brown color assuming this is just hardener. So half my boat rivets got the epoxy side and the other half got just the hardener. Not happy with how it turned out because the first half I had to wipe off because there was no hardener. In the future I would buy a pre mixed boat epoxy from Home Depot.

Great product
I used this to seal some leaky rivets on a jon boat I recently acquired. Using a cheap caulk gun and the provided tips, it worked very well. It can be a little temperature sensitive so make sure you apply in conditions above 60 degrees. I did some application at that temperature and really killed my hand trying to squeeze the caulk gun trigger. I finished the job a few days later in warmer weather and found the application to be so much easier. The only thing to be aware of is that the tube can be a little misleading in size. It's only about 1/2 full, but I was able to seal every rivet on the bottom of my 14 boat, half the rivets on the inside, and several of the seams. It is however a caramel colored product and won't dry clear, so it will stand out that you've used it. That being said, it was perfect for my needs.

It seems to work
It takes more than 3 inches of material before it is properly mixed. Wait for the color to change to brown before applying it. It was white after 4 inches so I used it as it changed color. That section did not harden.

So far this has been a great product. I used it to seal every rivet and seam on an aluminum boat I was fixing. Some people have complained that it was difficult to dispense but I purchased the cheapest caulk gun I could find and it wasn't too bad. It was very easy to work with, I used a putty knife and was able to shape it easily around the areas I was working on. Also, it really does stay exactly where you apply it even when working on slanted or even upside down surfaces. Once sanded, I was able to paint over it and you cannot tell that there is anything there. I give it 4 stars because I have yet to test the boat out and I do not know how it holds up over time.

Very easy to use
I bought this to pro-actively seal the non-welded ribs on the hull of my 14ft v-hull. The mixing tip worked great. Each stick comes with two mixing tips in case you don’t use all of the compound in one instance. The compound is very easy to work with and apply and dries pretty quick for sanding and painting. So far I would highly recommend any product from this company.

Sealed up leaky aluminum boat
Worked well. I used it to seal a leaky riveted seam where the bottom of my aluminum boat meets the transom. Followed the instructions regarding surface prep, no problem squeezing it out with a standard cheapie caulking gun. Came out thin enough for me to force it into and through the seam with some compressed air, then gave it a thicker bead inside and out, then had plenty of time to smooth it. Took paint well. The following week, took it out to the lake, it sat in the water for 6 days with an hour or so of driving around each day, and no leaks at all. Very satisfied.

Takes some experience to apply
Did a good Job on leaks to an aluminum boat. Stuff is quite viscous and ease of application depends on size of opening. Used calking gun. Two nozzles to try with - you get better with time.
