Spring loaded cover.

Installed this myself after curing power to it. Didn’t want to leave the plug open since the EV charger was removed. Good product and worth the cost.

FUNCTIONAL AND DURABLE

This was a good choice to cover my 50Amp RV plug on the exterior of my house. It's very sturdy, appears to be built from solid aluminum The lid opens FULLY, that easily allows the RV plug to be plugged IN and to allow one to grab the RV plug firmly to remove it too. The only complaint I would have is the rubber gasket that goes between the plate and the wall - it's not quite the same size or big enough to properly provide what I feel would be the best weather protection. Also, the way to remove the opening on the gasket is to 'pop out' parts of the center, however they are round punch outs, that again, do not match a standard 50Amp female receptacle. Overall, great value, strong build and looks good.

Non returnable

No screw holes. Looks like may be intended to be punched out but that's ridiculous as it provides no improvement in waterproofing.

Good quality, solid cover

I had tried to find a cover to fit a 2 gang box with no luck and this one worked well. I liked that it was metal and not cheap plastic.
