Great product much higher quality than the price would imply

I purchased 2 hose nossels of different brands for roughly the same price. This one is far superior. The handle and many other parts are metal and far more durable. I wanted a good one for the back yard and this one is the winner. I suspect this one will last many years and the other will be replaced in 2 years.

Very good sprayer, but...

Three stars because of one BIG problem: the volume control does not work at all. I need to turn the adjustment nut all the way to the end of its travel to reduce the volume. The plastic (why, when all else is metal?) nut will not last in that position. When I did use it, I loved the almost all metal construction and the spray patterns. Shower is nicely condensed so that it does not spray everywhere, center spray is a tight column of water that gives good distance, jet is really a tight jet, the mist position works very well, and if it had volume control, the flood setting could be used as a soaker. I did not have an opportunity to use this sprayer during the 30 day return period so I cannot send it back. TEST as soon as you receive to make sure all features work properly. To manufacturer, ORBIT, change the adjustment nut to knurled BRASS (yes it is more expensive) for longevity.

No leaks! No frills. Just simple reliability.

I needed a new hose nozzle for the water hose in my garage. I've tried a couple and they would leak over time. I'm not into the fancy ones with 17 different spray patterns. I just needed one to wash vehicles and fill buckets. Read the reviews and ordered this one. It's been in service now three weeks and so far it hasn't leaked! It does have an adjustable spray pattern. If you're looking for reliable simplicity, I would recommend this.
