Excellent stabilizer
I purchased the sticky stabilizer. It is easy to use. When you score it to remove the backing, the backing comes off very easily. On a loosely woven fabric, a little harder to get the sticky part off, but not too bad. Better that any I have used. The price online is much better that buying the product in a sewing shop.

Was very surprised
I needed I solution to use on a sash that did not fit in my smallest hoop. I am new to embroidery and have had trouble with puckering. This an awesome produce and prevents puckering and work great for small projects. I might just use this on all my embroidery projects.

Wonderful product!
My son wanted me to learn to embroidery hats for him, and I didn't particularly want to buy a cap hoop. I watched a utube video on hooping difficult items securely with this product. It works! So far, I've only had time to try it on two things---a toboggan and a ready-made tote bag. It worked beautifully on both. Toboggans are stretchy, but this held it firmly in place with zero shifting. I used water soluble stabilizer on top to keep the stitches from sinking. My embroidery looked very professional. The other item I tried it on, a ready-made tote bag, was difficult to hoop because it was already sewn together with limited room for maneuvering a hoop. This stabilizer held it firmly in place for the completion of a large monogram, and there was no hoop burn to worry about. (You can usually get hoop burn out with a good spraying of Magic Sizing, though.) For something so sticky, this stabilizer tore right away from my finished designs. I plan to use it on a fleece throw next. I'll be trying it with a baseball-style cap soon, too. I absolutely love how this product performs and plan to always keep some on hand in my sewing room.

Needle didn't get gunky
I have been looking for this product for awhile. I received a small sample and used it to stabilize three baby shirts while I embroidered a message. After buying this roll, I have used it to stabilize heavier knits. It didn't gunk up my needle. It worked very will with the infant shirts. I cut a window in the stabilizer, used a light tear-away to cover the window, and just anchored the shirts on top with the stickiness of the product. Amazing results. When I used it for adult knit shirts I didn't use the window technique and just stuck down the whole sewing field. It worked fairly well. It was great for repositioning the item to get it flat and smooth before stitching. During sewing there was some minor slippage of the shirt, probably due to its weight. Next time I'll rub it a bit to get a firmer contact. I will definitely be buying this product again.

love everything about this sulky product!
I spend a good deal of time with my embroidery machine and this sticky fronted stabilizer makes everything go better. By laying an 8" x 8" square sticky side up under my already assembled 2 piece hoop I can with many fabrics completely bypass the hooping of the fabric. After it is firmly attached to the back of my hoop I press ( with the tips of my fingers) my fabric with the desired area centered in the hoop. Then I just carry on with embroidering the pattern I have chosen. For me this completely eliminates problems like, hoop marks on my finished products, broken hoops, and working near an edge or seam that would have been hard or impossible to get near. This is a product I enjoy working with and will absolutely purchase again. UPDATE, Sulky Sticky Self-Adhesive Tear-Away Stabilizer Roll, has worked beautifully to allow me to embroider flexible dog collars and ribbon.

Works well with embroidery machines
This sticky stabilizer is a life saver when you want to embroider a message to sew onto a finished quilt. I use it a lot!

Great for difficult fabrics
This is great for a larger hoop. My largest has an 8 x 12 embroidery surface, (hoop is actually 10 x 17, but the surface area inside is what is guaged). If you need to embroider something that would be distorted by hooping, or, which would end up having hoop marks embedded on your fabric, this is what you need. It is less expensive than other brands, but it holds up well. You want to be sure when you separate your fabric from the stabilizer that you do not pull on your stitches. That is something you must be careful regarding. The cost is reasonable, and it really holds the fabric in place. I highly recommend this!

A gods send
What normally takes a long time to set up took minutes with this stuff, why I'd never thought of using it before I'll never know. Used it for christmas stockings and on going personalised towels. Value for money and medium weight

Using the stabiliser for a very tricky embroidery - I found that my pins pulled through the paper - I would much rather use the firmer stabiliser and spray glue. The most annoying thing for this purchase was the amount of custom duty that I had to pay - This was £12 which bought the overall cost up by nearly 50% it is a good job the postage to UK was described as being free.
