FANTASTIC Crochet hook

This crochet hook is very smooth and does not have any rough spots and glides thru acrylic yarn. Its spot to hold is about one inch from end of hook. Perfect to hold with hand/wrist/arm NOT getting sore or tired. The other special ergonomic hooks usually have handle 2" from hook end. And they put too much pressure on my wrist. So I like this old fashioned hook much better. I read reviews of rough edges. But I found this hook is made super smooth and easy to use. I'm loving it.

Too pointy

The only issue I’ve had with these is that they’re very pointed on the hook. It usually separates my yarn if I’m not careful. But other than that its been great.

I’m Hooked!

I love the Susan Bates line of inline crochet hooks! I do believe crocheting with them is a lot smoother, definitely not as tiring for my hands (carpal tunnel, arthritis), and it goes a lot quicker. I will collect all the sizes!

Same size, but two very differnet hooks

I recently lost a Susan Bates G crochet hook that I bought 53 years ago as a child. In a fit of panic I ordered two new ones (even though I still have one of my originals that were made in the US). They arrived today, after I found the hook that I lost so I compared them to my old faithful. The difference is glaring. The hook on the left was made in Malaysia. The hook in the middle was made in India. And the hook on the right was made in the US more than 50 years ago. The sizes don't match, the hooks have very different shapes and I am sure the stitches made by each of these will look very different. I am so glad I found my lost hook. Coats&Clark should do better quality control.

I LOVE IT!

I bought a cheaper crochet hook at a well known Arts & Crafts store and I just wasn't satisfied with it so I decided to search out something else. I used to make many things with a size 11 Bates hook so when I found this one, I knew I'd be getting a good product. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the original one I purchased, but what a difference!!! My yarn flows through this one beautifully and I love it. Five stars all the way!

I use this on an old IPAD2 I have for taking notes. For the most part it works great. Any issues I may have I think are due to the age of the IPAD2 as opposed to the device itself
