Works well

My daughter is moving up from the puddle jumper. This thing is great! She’s able to work on moving her arms and legs while swimming. Definitely a must have for a beginning swimmer.

Helps float

Helps my grandbaby float it is a bit small for a 4 year old but it does help her float she seems more relaxed with it on in the water

Thin swim vest

This isn't bulky like other swim vests which gives my child the ability to move around in the water. It is a little tight, my 4 year old weighs about 45lbs and when I put this on them i have to let all the slack out of the bungees along the sides. I like that it allows my child to move more freely but wished it had a bit more slack to the cords.

Nice but feels a little small

My 6 yr old daughter still swims with a puddle jumper but she is more interested now in learning to swim without floatation. This vest seems like a good in the middle option. She is 6 and weighs 46 lbs so in the age and weight for this vest and overall pretty slender but we still had to let the sides out all the way. It took me a minute to realize there was velcro on the strap in between the legs and adjust that but initially I thought it would be way too short. We did get a good fit after some adjustments but I would say since my daughter is pretty slender I was surprised that we had to fiddle with it so much to get it to fit especially since it goes up to 55 lbs. It didn't help that my child was not being very cooperative with all the fiddling. So make sure you plan on spending time adjusting the fit before you get to the pool when your child is in a good mood. The fabric is soft and she likes the mermaid design so those are wins.

Its very cute, but Small

This is an adorably cute swim floater. It's super high quality, has great materials, and is bright and colorful. I am disappointed that my normal sized 4.5 year old couldnt really use it, because it is just too small for her. This is a great product and an excellent value, but I would only buy this for a normal sized child under 4.

Cool concept for kids learning to swim

My daughter has slowly been graduating up the life vest ladder: infant floater to infant lifevest to a toddler floaty vest and armbands. Her confidence is growing and we’re planning on swim lessons this year since she’s in the water so often. I’m excited to have this to help her grow her confidence even more. It feels well built and the removable pads are, well, easy to remove. I like that the elastic is so adjustable, as both my daughters are very different in size and build. I feel confident that they’ll both be able to fit in it. My daughter is on the large side for a 3-year-old and this fit her comfortably. I’ll likely keep her in her toddler floaty until she’s built up some skills and technique a bit more, but this will be in the rotation this summer and I will update my review if it doesn’t hold up as I expect it will.

Easy to use and adjusts with experience.

So far I’m a fan of this swimming helper. It’s easy to put on and adjust. As child gains confidence in the water you can remove panels until child is swimming on their own and may not even realize the floaters aren’t there anymore. It’s a decent price and good quality. Our daughter loves it so far. Would definitely recommend.

Good quality swim vest, and a cool idea

I got this item in the early spring months in preparation for the summer, but we are going to get our 5 year old more confident swimming this summer. I love that you can slowly remove the padding as the child gains more confidence swimming. The stitching and quality of this swim vest feels very good and I'll have no quality concerns allowing my child to use it. Recommended!
