Great product for the money.
Tripod is unacceptable.

Great Spotting Scope for the Price
I was pleasantly surprised when I got to use the scope this weekend. The scope is a 20-60 X 80 power. I found it very easy to use. The scope has a built in sliding sun shield. The diopter for zooming was easy to use and did not bind. The pictures show 20 power at 52 yards and about 45 power at the same range. While my pictures are not crystal clear it is not the scopes fault but the camera on my phone. I found the scope focus knob to be easy to use and was able to focus at all ranges that I used it at, out to 200 yards. The scope has two knobs. One I marked in yellow and the other in orange. The yellow is your focus knob. The orange is you cant knob. This allows you to rotate the assembly so that the viewing angle is adjustable to you while using it. The tripod was satisfactory for my use (bench rest). If you want to use it on a taller tripod, it will accept it. The tripod adjusting knob took some getting use to but again I am ok with it. All in all I am very satisfied with the scope and it's price point. You can pay more for a great name but TASCO checked all my boxes.

Choose your spotting scope based on your actual need.
Choosing my binocular was easy. Choosing a spotting scope was like a final thesis! The range of spotting scopes is huge costing from $50 to $5000 and suitable to a variety of tasks where sometimes the extra expense makes no difference. I needed to be able to spot hits on targets at 100 yards and never thought about using it while hunting. Decent reviews of scopes are actually few and far between. Finally, I purchased this spotting scope. It will not be mistaken for a Nikon or Swarovski, but the controls are smooth. In particular, the focus knob is easy. The scope is armored and feels quite substantial -- probably clunkier than I would ever want to haul through the woods although I don't know how it compares with others. Optically it is more than suitable to my use and view is clear and sharp, certainly at 20-40X. It has a twist up eye cup to adjust eye relief. As an eyeglass wearer I found I needed it all the way down, as usual, to see. Eye relief is not generous but that is to be expected on an optic like this. The included tripod is minimalist and I will be using a different one but keeping this one handy for use on the range. I understand this model has been discontinued but I can recommend it as long as you know what your intended usage will be.

Good value
Works best at 40X which seems to be the sweet spot. The more magnification the darker your picture but it's a well built unit for a hobbyist.

Good purchase
Great scope but garbage tripod but your not buying a tripod, your buying the optics. Good purchase.
