I think this is a very good clock to give someone as a gift

The class was ordered and sent to my son for his birthday and I’m not sure if he’s working or not because you have not put a battery in it but I’m sure he’s going to be OK.

Doesn’t work.

This is the second Taylor clock I’ve bought for my patio that didn’t work out of the box. Both hands just dangle. Looks nice but doesn’t work at all

not to be hung in direct sunlight

Overall I like the Lighthouse. But I wanted this to hang on our deck and now read on the box instructions that it's not to be hung in direct sunlight = so no deck. It's painted pretty well, but not perfect, and at the current $39.00 price I think it should be. Besides = this is only weather resistant resin and isn't a high quality material. > When the lighthouse arrived, the minutes hand was flopping around. But it just needs pressed back on the round (no notch) plastic shaft. I'm guessing this is why they say to set time on the back of the clock = not the hands. There's no instructions other than put a AA battery in the clock. > The clock (battery not included) keeps perfect time. > The thermometer seems to work, but isn't as quickly reactive as I'm used to. I've tested it in the sun / house / refrigerator - next to another thermometer and it gets a very close read to it. This is 12 1/2" tall - 5 1/2" wide - 2 1/2" deep - indoor / outdoor It's easy to hang - only requires one screw / or nail even though the box instructions explain how to place two anchors. > The battery box has a cap to keep covered from the elements, and will be fine after it's hung. But it continually falls off until then.
