Compact and concise

Our old sensor to a different thermometer broke, so we ordered this one. I love that it is small and only displays the temperatures indoors and outdoors and time. The old one also had humidity but that was just clutter for us, sometimes mistaking it for temperature on a quick glance. This sensor actually also works with the old base too. One flaw is that there is no hole on the back of the new base to mount it on a wall.

Nice Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer

I needed an outdoor thermometer to determine the temperature in my backyard. I garden, and tend to plant a bit early for the unpredictable Texas weather. I had a suspicion that my yard was a "microclimate" and the temp was possibly higher than the official temperature. I was right! My garden tends to run a couple degrees above the forecast, which makes a big difference when you're talking about 32 degrees versus 34. I was able to make a more educated guess about whether I should cover my plants or not. I love that it transmits the temp from the outdoor thermometer to the indoor one so I can check it without having to go outside. The outdoor part should be hung in a protected area as it isn't truly waterproof. The indoor part also shows the time and the indoor temperature. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought 2. Using 2 receivers and 1 transmitter.

I’ve been wanting to learn to use Celsius temperatures. I have 2 of these units. I used only 1 transmitter for 2 receivers. I saved the extra transmitter as a back up. I changed the settings so that one receiver displays Celsius and one displays Fahrenheit temperatures but they are both getting information from one source / transmitter. These were easy to setup. They both show inside & outside temperatures. They are a touch reflective which makes them difficult to read from an angle however they work very well especially when viewed head-on. For the price, these are terrific. No frills or fanciness. I had to drill a hole above the battery compartment of each receiver in order to hang them on a small nails. It’s strange that they are only made to sit on a surface when they could easily come with a hole in the back. No matter, it was easy to modify and I’m very pleased. Maybe now when I travel, I’ll understand the weather forecast better.

seems to work just fine

This is fairly new at our house - so my review is based on just a few days. The clock is a little small, but I could've purchased something bigger, I guess. My husband set it up, so maybe the areas that are projected could be changed, making the inside temp smaller and the clock bigger. I'll research that. all in all, does what I wanted it to do

Large numbers, easy to read

This thermometer is small but has large numbers making it easy to read. The outdoor sensor is also small which is convenient. This is my second purchase of this item.

It was smaller than I expected, outside temperature and time hard to see unless you are very close to the unit.
