Ram 4500 and 5500 trucks rear brake caliper

If you have a RAM 4500/5500 truck, the upper caliper mount bolt is hard to get on to with the right socket and wrench. But use this bad boy and a 4lb sledge hammer, and that bolt will come loose. I've beat on mine and it hasn't been mishappened yet.

Solid, good quality tool

Tool works great for loosening up stuck nuts. Despite foreign (I assume chinese) manufacture, it is quality and does the job as expected.

Great tool for Bendix air disc caliper bolts

Bought this tool for helping me to remove Bendix air disc caliper bolts and it has held up really well. You can really beat on this sucker and it doesn't even flinch it. I've noticed compared to other brands that it almost feels like it grips more. It rarely falls off. I had to shaved the open end down on mine (Do not recommend doing this) to fit the Bendix air disc caliper bolts, however this is just the design issue on the brakes they put the two lower ones in very cost proximity of one another.

Ehhhh, it's ok.

A little shorter than what I thought it would be and striking end is a little narrow, haven't had to use it yet, but looks sturdy.

I does the job

I have been using it for 8 monts now. Works great for removing Caliper bolts on Motor coach and Transit bus. It’s much thinner than the Snap on version, but works just as good. So far I used it on at least 30 brake caliper removals including 10 Grayhound buses torqued to at least 1000lbs. I end up using 12lbs sludge hummer on it. Very satisfied.

Must have tool for your truck

Great to remove the Pitman arm on my 2015 F350 4x4 truck. Ford said they couldn’t remove it Without taking apart the whole front end and charging me three hours. With this I did it myself in 20 minutes

Takes a Beating

I used this on a recent machine install, and used a 3 pound hammer on it over the course of a week, on 60 bolts mating frame pieces. Should last a lifetime.
