They Work!

I have these on my primary rack on my truck. They are reliable and well manufactured. I had one stolen so I had to buy these replacements. Not being able to get one at a decent price stinks. These are a bit pricey!

Good.. but wished there was a better product

Paint peels after a couple months in Fl sun. Knobs will break off if tighten to much. Should have aluminum knobs. Please make upgraded version! ;)

Reduces usable width of rack system

I only gave it three stars because I'm sure it works well in some applications. I need load stops that the attachment is UNDER the load. Each of these load stops reduces the usable width of your cross bar by about 4", and they cannot be mounted at the extreme ends of my bars. While the universal clamp-on load stops I am using accommodate the 39" beam of my Merrimac Osprey, the Thule load stops don't even come close to accommodating the 27" gunwale to gunwale width of my Bell NW Solo.

A must have addition to the set that comes with the rack

I'm so glad we bought this second set of load stops for our new rack. Having two sets now on each cross bar allow me to secure multiple things at the same time using various spacing combinations of the load stops.

Will not fit a TracONE Universal Truck Bed Ladder Rack 800 lbs

I ordered the rack through Home Depot and maybe that was the problem. When you look up the rack on Amazon it shows the rack with these rack stops on it. On the Home Depot picture it shows the loop type tie downs. I ordered these anyway, despite reading some reviews about how they don't fit. Well they don't. The guides on the stop are too thick and wide to fit the slot on the rail. Luckily, I am used to modifying things to fit. And that is exactly what I did. Now they fit and I repainted them after grinding and re-slotting things. So far, does not look so bad (it looks like the Amazon pictures now).

The ability to move the brackets to fit the load!

We have used many styles of tie down brackets on our pickups rack systems and this one is the easiest to use and relocate to fit the load. We use it for different size kayaks. Fast shipping too!

Not the same as the old Trac Rac products...

So Thule bought the Trac Rac product line. While it looks and functions the same, the quality has been sacrificed a great deal unfortunately. It's not the heavy duty system it once was. Compare one of these load stops to the trac rac stops as one example. This also won't fit your old system so buyer beware.

4 x load stops in the box

It isn't very clear from the listing I assumed that I was getting a pair of load stops however I was pleasantly surprised to find a set of four in the package. This makes the stops themselves good value for money, as with most thule kit they work very well but you have to check the tightness of the knobs regularly.

This is not a children bell but a Thule rack stopper

It is just as expected but not many people will find this because for some reason it is listed as a chidren bell but rest assured this is a Thule stopper and works amazingly good on any aero bars

Les items reçus semblent identiques aux originaux (mais pas encore installés). Les originaux de Thule se corrodaient complètement dans 1 seule année avec le sel durant l'hiver. Je vais mieux évaluer la résistance à la corrosion durant la prochaine année.. alors je donne 4* so far..

Lock well

Yes the lock well. Tip, add some Neverseaze to the locking know handle if you live on the "wet coast" and they will work great for a long time.
