Gorgeous shoe, weird fit

I bought these in gold, and they are stunning right out of the box! I bought both an 8.5 & 9 to try, but unfortunately the fit was weird on both. I kept stepping out of the heel in both sizes, but my toes ran over the front of the shoe by a ridiculous amount even in the size 9. I’ve never had that happen before in a shoe. Sending back:(
