Reviewing new and lightly used
CAUTION! I have had the 8 and 10-inch skillets for only a few weeks. Currently, they are performing very well. I like them. Also, I am hoping they do not turn out like some of the images posted. At this time they are worth what I paid for them. I intended to buy the 12-inch skillets but now I must back out because of the images posted. I will look for another brand that might be more stable. NOTE> When I finish cooking in these skillets I just wipe them down. I use wood and silicone spatulas. That is it. If things change I might be back to make an update. UPDATE. Just checked some reviews of non-stick skillets. some sites list this skillet in their reviews and they match out decently. After some research, I have decided to buy the 12-inch skillet of this brand. The worst review I came across was from America's Test Kitchen. Their complaint is the handle was too long. I kind of agree with this assessment but I figure I will adapt. The silicon handle will come off, so it can be used in the oven. Overall I have learned that these coated pans work best at about 350 degrees and not to pre-heat without something in the as this will cause the release of fumes and begin the destruction of the finish. Realize that this is my opinion you must decide for yourself. Best of luck.

Good quality pans
ordered a set of three hoping for the best and was not disappointed. Just fried some squid and "tater tots" in the 12" pan and am very happy with the result. The pan heated up equally all over, no hot spots and when finished, I let it cool and rinsed with hot water. Pan dried nicely. Even husband (who loves to cook "hot") liked the ease of the pans and actually cooked at the recommended med high temp.!

Love, Love, LOVE this pan!!
This pan is fantastic for so many things, however they do not make a matching lid. I did find a glass 15" lid from Lodge that fits perfectly (even though this pan is a 14") - which DEFINITELY raises the price considerably. But all in all I think it was worth it.

Heats quickly and evenly
So far I've been pleased with this pan. It heats up quickly and evenly (and the instructions are clear stating that you should never use high heat). Cleanup is a breeze too. No real downside; the only question is I'm not sure how long it will hold up, which is my standard measure of a good pan, especially nonstick. But I always wash it by hand, use wooden or plastic utensils and avoid putting it on high heat, so expect it should work for quite a while.

Great pan for the price
I purchased this as a gift to my nephew when he started living on his own and cooking. Having a quality pan to cook with can inspire people to cook. I own the 14" version of this and love it. He also loves the pan and uses it every time he cooks something. The even heat distribution is incredible and the silicone handle never gets hot. He used it for a number of different dishes so far and will continue to use it when he cooks.

The nonstick pan to get.
We all know nonstick pans don't last forever, even if we are careful, you just have have to avoid the bottom of the barrel coatings or bases that are too thin or poorly constructed to get a nice good even heat, while making sure not to go overboard and buy expensive pans that will still last the same as this one. This pan is really good in that way, its robust and heats even. The handle is even nice to hold. Its got utilitarian and function good looks. This is a pan that is built to be used a lot and is very competitively priced.

Top shelf
These are really nice pans. I just threw out one that I have used for 8 years. The finish on it lasted much longer than the same coating on other brands. These are very durable pans just don't use metal utensils

Every egg cookers dream
Fantastic non stick frying pan, great for cooking eggs in any way. I've even used this to fry an egg without any butter or oil and the egg slid around with ease. Very easy to clean, rubber handle is a nice touch to avoid burns.

Fantastic commercial style non-stick pan with smooth surface
Very very nice construction quality, exactly like the high-quality commercial pans I'm used to. If you are used to more houseware stuff this may be a different design for you, especially in the handle. Commercial handles tend to be longer and heavier, which the Tramontina definitely is. Made in Brazil. I'll say the silicone handle cover is a bit out of place on the 8" version, just forcing your hand far down the handle. I'll probably take it off even though its nice. I just started using it so can't comment on the non-stick longevity, but I will say this depends tremendously on the user. Don't turn it above medium heat, avoid hard spatulas etc, always use oil, and always start from clean. As a new pan, it feels miraculously non-stick as expected. The cooking surface is a classic smooth finish. Over many pans and many years I'll say that I've seen better longevity from the more modern rough surface finish (like Heritage and Ninja). But smooth has its place too. This 8" pan is perfect for eggs. Great value for $ imo.

Excellent Quality
This is an excellent pan but it was certainly not worth waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive. It was beautifully packaged and cooks well.

Why Spend More?
This highly recommended non-stick pan is a champ. It costs little compared to the expensive non-stick pans and performs in a superior way. It can go into the oven which the expensive non-stick pans cannot. This is a "pro" kitchen product and I'll eventually be replacing my larger fry pans with this brand's bigger models when their coating eventually gives up the ghost. Could have saved literally hundreds of dollars by starting with these instead of finding them at the end of the buying process. Will only use these models in future. A bargain for superior performance.

A very practical frying pan
This is a robust and versatile frying pan. A good complement to a large pan.
