Great quality, target calves muscles, TriggerPoint STK Contour Flexible
I used to run and have had a problem with my calves muscles (esp. anterior tibialis) for years. The muscles get very tight and hard, and I read that it's due to muscle weakness and overuse. I noticed certain areas are sore as soon as I started rolling. I’ve been using this in addition to [TriggerPoint GRID Foam Roller Original (13-inch)] on my calves about 3-5 times a week, and I've already noticed an improvement in my symptoms after about a month. I tried the Performance GRID STK Handheld Foam Roller Regular Density (since doesn't roll smoothly, hard to exert pressure and roll at the same time) and the travel edition (the pointy massage roller poke uncomfortably), but for my calves, this was the best. It rolls smoothly. The rollers are made of foam that doesn't have much give (it's much harder than the GRID roller foam). The design makes it easy to get the muscle area right next to the shin bone without rolling over the bone. The roller does bend a little bit, but not a lot, which is good because you can exert as much pressure as you'd like. I've also used on other muscle groups (upper legs, forearms). The shoulder is a bit tricky, but when you are able to stabilize the roller, it works very well (just be careful as the handle can leave a black mark on the wall).

Almost as good as your PT!
I bought this Trigger Point Massage Stick after having used the one at my PT for 2 years after 2 knee replacement surgeries. Now that I'm near graduating from ongoing PT, time to get the equipment that helped my recovery most for my home gym. Before I used this stick, I used a swivel roller stick to rub out adhesions from my muscles and other soft tissues. That product, which I still own and use, is complementary to this stick. The main reasons why: 1) It's much easier to grip this stick to stop the rolling motion which adds to the "pulling" of your tissues to aid stretching, 2) the knobby protrusions really do feel like your PT's fingers, 3) the handle offers another way to dig into your tissues. Overall, it's the application of friction on your skin and tissues that has a totally different impact to your recovery. The stick, at 21", is a little too big for air travel or most carry on bags. And since I have used it during this crazy COVID time, the materials have tolerated continuous and repeated exposure to industrial strength sanitizers. The rubbers and plastic have not suffered in the least. I love this stick and highly recommend it.

Comfort massage tool
A medium pressure roll massages the muscles and helps loosen them. It is only a slight flex compared to what I was hoping for. But even the little flex is helpful.

Very flexible..NOT hard on my body.
I was looking for relief from hip issue with muscle spams rotating to my knee ☹️... jumped on Amazon ( don’t like meds )...Chose this one & don’t regret it, it’s been amazing helping with the spasms in my thigh.

Didn’t order it, too big, box open
1. ThisItem was much bigger than the description on Amazon. 2. You will notice that I did not order this product it was put on hold. 3. The box was open when delivered. I do not know if it was damaged. 4. Please note that I did except another of the same type back roller that was ordered. 5. I do want to return it.

I have terrible problems with my IT bands and use this on ...
I call this thing my Satan Stick, because holy hell do you feel it! I have terrible problems with my IT bands and use this on a regular basis to roll out my legs. It definitely helps loosen things and gets the blood flowing, but you will develop a love-hate relationship with this thing worse than any ex you've ever dated. I use it myself on certain muscle groups, but to really dig in there on other spots it works best to have someone else roll it out for you. It could even be someone who doesn't like you, because they will get to watch you writhe in pain as this thing loosens up bits that have been tight since that wild tailgate party back in college where the guy wearing the horse mask hit you with a stick when he missed swinging at the liquor pinata. You will be glad you bought this while simultaneously regretting it and cursing the person who invented this for generations to come.

JUST BUY IT! You won't regret it!
This is the real deal. Don't waste your time on the cheap imitations. I used to own the cheap stick with red handles with the white little rollers that spin individually. You don't realize how crappy they are until you use the TriggerPoint stick. The cheap one would often times grab onto my leg hairs and rip them out. Or you spend more time trying to keep the handles from sliding off. I chose the black extra firm one and glad I did. The orange one may be fine for some people but I do a lot of foam rolling and can handle and prefer quite deep pressure on my quads and IT bands. If you're like me and able to roll your IT bands and quads with all your weight bearing on just the roller and muscles, then the black stick is a good choice!

Hope you don't have hair...
I really wanted to like this roller. I bought two different rollers, this one is by far the best constructed. In fact I surely thought I'd prefer this stick but I've found it only mildly useful. If you have ANY body hair, it'll find it and it'll pull like crazy. I'm a guy so yeah, I have hair on my legs. I needed it for hamstring work for baseball and hockey but I find this massage stick almost useless unless I'm wearing some tight-fitting clothing. Even then it'll often tangle with my compression shorts, tights or sliding shorts when you really try to dig in to loosen the muscles. I've tried every angle and then some so I can sometimes get it to work well enough but to me it's ineffective. I'll sometimes tolerate the pain since I like the handle design of this one much better, but if I have both sticks available, the other roller will get the nod. The other roller (similar to the PROCIRCLE Massage Stick) has little individual hard plastic roller pieces that can move independently and are MUCH better for areas of the body that have hair. Nor does it tangle with clothing -- for me, I prefer the other stick.

Great product - I use it on my head and neck due to migraines
It's a great product - the foam roller is perfect and doesn't stick to skin/hair when it's rolling. It's firm and I love that it's able to bend and the contour is great for the head/neck area, much more than a straight roller, which I also have. I used it on my head and neck recently during a migraine and it helped a lot. During a migraine you can barely walk so getting help outside of a spouse/partner is impossible, and having this foam roller is great when you're in pain in the middle of the night.

Great product!
Great for usage after workouts. I am not a big fan of the big foam rollers as its too painful after workouts straight away. The trigger point allows me tackle my pain "smoothly" although still painful (which is normal after working out). Would buy it again all the time.

Really helps muscle recovery
I’m trying to become a runner and it seems that it is frequent to get muscle pains and injuries until your body adapts or if you train too hard for your level. This roller has been a great post-running help to greatly reduce muscle pains that sometimes make my running quite uncomfortable. To be clear, it is not a miracle, you have to put work in; the aim is that after every run, you should use the roller on your “trouble” muscles and this requires time and effort (you have to apply force). If you include its usage in your routine, you muscles will be less sore!

Used to use this at the gym
I love this roller so much more than my big foam roller, it’s easy to use & does a great job for my sore legs. And I can use it sitting on the sofa, & don’t need to roll around the floor to use it

Worth every penny
I first purchased the TriggerPoint Grid roller for my back. It works GREAT! so I figured I would try the hand roller. It helps with aching legs and I have also used it on the back of my neck to relieve tight muscles in place of taking an Anacin. It really helps so I will continue to find ways to use it for more muscle issues. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to relieve tight muscles.
