It works for chelating purposes!
It does what it's supposed to do! I used it as a chelating shampoo to remove hard water minerals from my hair, and I don't know what they mean when they claim it's "moisturizing" coz let me tell you... IT CLEANED MY HAIR OUT!! Everything left! I did follow up with a moisturizing shampoo (you MUST) and a moisturizing (deep) conditioner (MUST!). However, the conditioner I used wasn't strong enough so after styling, I ended up with DRYYYYYY hair. My hair felt utterly naked. Frizzy. Dry. Crisp. Ugh. Don't make that mistake, use a DEEP conditioner RICH in emollients/conditioning agents. I did so at the next wash and the result was top notch.

Absolutely the answer to chlorine saturated hair! Having tried a few cheaper shampoos, I always go back to this one. I keep a bottle in my pool locker and one at home. Good product!

works well after swimming
The foamy suds actually do make my hair feel softer and less dry after swimming. I don't wear a swim cap, and I've been using my usual (anti-dandruff) shampoo. This is much better. BTW, I'm a man. This is good for men or women, also because it has no particular scent that I'm aware of.

My hair hasn’t been damaged by all the chlorine at all during my swim training due to this shampoo. I double shampoo to make sure it lathers really well, and a little goes a long way!

It worked
I have white hair. There is an increased amount of chlorine in the water where I live. It was turning my hair different colors . My hair stylist recommended a swimmers shampoo. It has amazingly worked .

Works well
I swim 2-3X a week and don't wear a swim cap (I just hate them, okay?). As a result, my hair can feel tangled, dried out, and brittle as time goes on, and my hairdresser has noted "build-up" of chlorine when I've gone to the salon. for a wash and cut. However, this shampoo does a good job at getting rid of both the chlorine feeling AND smell after using the pool. I use a small coin-sized amount and wash my hair twice in a row to make sure all of the chemicals have been removed. My hair instantly feels soft and manageable. I use a conditioner afterwards, though, just to be safe. You wouldn't even know I had spent an hour in the pool without a swim cap, it's that good! My only qualm is that it's pretty pricey; however, you are paying for quality here, so I think it's a very reasonable expense to make, especially if you're often in the pool. Note: I did not purchase conditioner from the same brand; I use any conditioner I have lying around, and my hair feels fantastic afterwards.

Above average shampoo
I'm a frequent swimmer and over time my hair has gotten unmanageable and gummy. I've tried things like clarifying shampoo and shampoos to remove chlorine and I found Ultraswim above average. It is better than most typical clarifying shampoo in detangling but it doesn't remove the tangles and gummy hair entirely. However, it is one of the few options with more affordable pricing for long term use. I'm never giving up swimming so I guess gummy hair is a trade off that I'm willing to live with and Ultraswim is a good complement to hair ease my hair condition a bit. For reference, I have fine hair.

Best Product! Not just chlorine but hard minerals washed away!
Works excellent, smells NICE! My hair feels better than it did before the chlorine damage. I've been living with hard water for 8 years, i had no idea the effect this has on hair. I started swimming everyday at the pool and my hair turned to straw. Because of this product my long hair feels so soft and silky. Seems to strip off the chlorine and minerals allowing the conditioner to penetrate my hair. My ends feel just as soft as the hair at my scalp. Love it!

It's fine
We use this in the summer months when our pool is open. It's fine. I have no scientific way of proving that it actually removes chlorine for the hair but hey, I feel good thinking I am helping my kids and our hair so I buy it. It is also difficult to find swim friendly shampoo around our neck of the woods, so I bought this.

Excellent product! Removed chlorine green.
After only one wash the chlorine green was removed from my highlighted blonde hair. The shampoo is very runny so I only used a tiny amount and it lathered well. The scent was pleasant and my hair was clean and smooth afterwards.
