Great Lightweight Travel Crib But Beware of Receiving USED Product

I'm excited to use this on our upcoming family vacation. It will definitely be better than our chunky pack n play we have used with our other kiddos. I am glad I took it out and inspected it before we were traveling. The first one that came in showed that it was evident that I had received one that had been returned. One leg would not go in and the warning label was chipped away like it had been used several times. That was frustrating as this was not an open box deal. I returned it and received the next one. Same issue. It had clearly been returned. This time the legs all worked and it didn't look used but the product was missing the plastic covering that it came in, and instructions. This time it worked and didn't look too used so I kept it because our trip is quickly approaching but I am frustrated that I had to pay full price for something that was clearly something that should be considered an Amazon Open Box deal.

Best crib ever

I am so in love with this crib I ordered it a couple weeks ago for mu second baby. It is so safe with mesh sides (so many times I have woken up to see his face pressed in the corner breathing through the mesh) and there is a zipper that opens up the whole side so you can lay with the baby while sleep training. sometimes I even step into the crib and lay inside of it with him which is super nice. And it’s SUPER sturdy and takes 10 seconds to put together, unlike other pack n plays. I think I will actually use this for a long time even when he’s one and two years old instead of getting him a normal crib. Plus it folds up so tiny for traveling. If I could do it all over again for my first baby I would probably only buy this crib for him, the wood one is so huge and seems like a space killer. This one is the “mini“ crib size mattress so you can buy a nicer 3” thick mattress for it for when you’re at home. and tons of companies make the mini crib mattress sheets and protrectors in organic cotton.

I got this for my dog and it’s wonderful for him!!

My elderly dog has dementia and finds himself occasionally trapped behind doors, wedged into corners, and once INSIDE an end table with decorative legs. He also would wake up and pace throughout the night, waking me in the process. This playpen has been amazing. Not only did he sleep through the whole night (with his dog bed and blankets layered on the bottom), but I was finally able to, too. Throughout the day when he naps, I’ll put him in for a cozy rest. When I take him to his dog sitter’s this weekend, I’m bringing the playpen with us because last time he got wedged behind the washer and dryer. I am REALLY happy with this purchase, and the heather grey color is not bad at all — definitely less of an eyesore than most other playpens out there. I was worried about assembling it, but it was a breeze!

Add a travel mattress if using as a crib, otherwise nice play pen

We needed a travel crib to go visit my sister in Florida. It's really easy to set up and pack up and is nice and light so it's easy to carry. The biggest drawback for this is the mattress. It's definitely just a firm pad more suitable for playing. When we tried to use it as a crib my 6 month old woke up several times a night. The other problem is trying to put a sleeping baby down all the way down to the floor over those rails. So for that trip it wasn't great, however we just got the Hiccapop tri-fold travel mattress for playyard and it fits perfectly, so we'll try again for the next trip. I will say it was a really nice little play pen when we needed a place to put her down, especially when there are animals around. I definitely thought it was worth it and hope with a good mattress that this will be a good travel crib for future trips.

Safe for my big baby!

Safe for my big baby! I had such a hard time finding a playpen for my 30 pound baby. He has exceeded the weight limit for most play pens. The only thing I don’t like is that it is not easy to put together and take down. We have two play pens and we just keep this one up all the time so that we don’t have to go through the hassle of taking it down. If you’re looking for something more mobile, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for something affordable and lightweight for a big baby, this is a great fit!

Better then pack n' play

I bought this for my 9 month old to use while we were on vacation. The airline (delta) checked it for free. Its super light and easy to set up. The sleeping area is a bit bigger than the pack n' play (i have that one too). My only criticism is that the mattress is not very thick. I gave her a pillow and she was fine. I wouldn't put a pillow in there for a smaller baby that couldn't turn over, but honestly I don't think it was needed. Also, life hack - when it is put away correctly in the carrier there is room to pack stuff in the middle. We knew we would be able to check it on the way back so we put all of our liquids inside of the carrier (we didn't bring any checked bags). It helped us get through security a little easier. Airport security is a mad-house when you bring a baby so it was one less thing we had to do.

I’m very happy I bought this!!

Great travel play pen! I originally purchased the other version Uniplay sells and that one was great also. However it was better for us to have the zipper side. This way we could easily play on the floor with our little one. So I sent it back and got this one. Only issue( if you even call it that) was I guess the machine sewed through the zipper. Luckily I was able to cut the fabric and it didn’t put the zipper off track ( thank goodness). I recommend if you want a lighter smaller playpen that you can also travel with easily without all the parts a traditional one has.

Red-ish stains on the pad

What I like about this item is that it is compact the way I imagined. It is very light and could say durable for how light it is. What I didn’t like is that when I unboxed, there was a white like stains on the bag (at first I thought it was molds) then I wiped with a wet tissue and saw a red-ish stain(?). As I unzip the bag, the “white like satins were in patches over the pad(bed) and I wiped again and yes, the red-ish stuff stained the wet tissue. I ended up scrubbing the whole crib with soap and dry it off with a towel.
