Perfect for my needs
To be honest I was scared that these were going to be very cheaply made due to the reviews, but I was pleasantly happy when I received my order. These were a lot sturdier and stronger than I thought, and so far none of my bells have broken off. The clips are definitely strong enough to stay clamped on the tip of my rods (another thing I feared). Overall, these are great and I will very likely be purchasing these again. One note is to not forget to take them off when you cast again or else these will go flying off. My buddy and I lost a total of 4 because we kept forgetting. But if you remember to take it off and put it back on before and after every cast, you'll be fine. I used it for surf fishing and pier fishing.

Very good and very cheap
The bells are as good as they can get. However, they do not hold on very tip of my fishing rod and slide about 4-5 inches down - the smallest opening in bells' clamp is still too big for the thinnest section of the fishing rod. -- Still, the bells are very sensitive and loud. The seller had shipped the bells next day after I placed the order. -- Although it took a while, the shipment was delivered well before specified date. My recommendation: -- buy it, unless you will be leaving for fishing trip today or tomorrow.

You get what you pay for
The clamps are quite small. Some came with only onebell attach and some the bells did not have the ball in them so they couldn't ring other thatn that they are cheap so you get what you pay for.

Work excellent! I am going take 1 and attach it to the seat springs under the drivers seat in my brothers car. It should drive him Nuts until he figures it out. Don't feel sorry for him????

Nice little bells for fishing pole or string around perimeter of tent on string
I didn't buy these for a fishing pole, I bought to put on a string around my tent at night so if something or someone walks up on me I will know about it. They are loud enough to wake me yet very light for backpacking.
