Does the job- we didn’t get a remote though.

We bought this for a guest room that didn’t have a fan. It’s loud; but for me it’s enough white noise I need at night to sleep. For the price, it does a good job with airflow and has the option to oscillate. There was no remote with ours.

Really unclear instructions, but great fan...

This fan is really great once you've got it up and running. It blows a strong wind that feels like an outside breeze on a breezy day. It oscillates 120 degrees. The noise isn't too loud. Not as loud as my window fan I think. It just kind of makes a sound of like a really strong wind. Every once in a while I hear it as it comes up and its about to blow a strong gust of wind at me and it kind of scares me that something's going to hot me cuz its like the strong gust of wind is going to hit me and I can really feel it lol. Its 80 degrees outside today and it feels nice in my bedroom. I have three other fans, a window fan, a small desk fan/portable ac/humidifier, and a ceiling fan and usually with them going on a day like today its HOT. Add this fan and its nice and cool and breezy. We'll see if it keeps me cool on a 90 degree day.

Not Really 16"

Advertised as a 16" fan. I have other 16" fans where the fan blade is 16"......On this fan, the fan blade is about 14"......it looks real small for a 16" fan. The cage is 16"...not the fan blade. Next time I will buy in a STORE where I can see the actual product. IMO does not move as much air as my other 16" fans do.

The base falls apart when I move the fan.

I changed the base with a base I had from my old fan. Much better and more sturdy. The fan is too quiet. I bought it to drown out my husbands snoring. ????

Nice but....

Nice for what I needed. The major drawback it was not remote-controlled, but in my defense, I was dying of heat and needed something quick and I did not read everything. Next one I will read better.

Great, Simple, Quite Fan, Cool Air!

The fan arrived quicky, although it was left downstairs and not at my front door. Boo to the UPS guy! ???????? The fan was very easy to assemble. I read a review that said "it was loud" and that person probably didn't tighten it up very well which might've caused a rattling sound. I didn't have that problem at all. I had a Lasko box fan that was extremely loud and this fan is a blessing compared to that thing. I could finally hear the TV on a regular volume! I highly recommend buying this fan if you're on a budget and you want something quite, easy to assemble and help cool you off on a hot sunny day. It's great especially paired with the cool air of the AC.

Doesn't blow out very strong even on high

When assembling it, the head kept clicking to up position. Had to loosen a screw but it still seems off. Came in the other day and it had gone back in tilt position. Had to get screwdriver and adjust it again. I was disappointed in this fan because it barely blows even on high. It's quiet for sure since not much power to it. I would've just got the Lasko (which I have) but thought Pelonis was an upgrade. It isn't on this model, for sure. It was $40 plus tax. I had it ready to return but didn't want to unassemble it. Maybe if I would have gotten the more expensive model that has solid base instead of the four legs. Disappointed!

No nonsense room fan that is quiet

I love this fan. It was inexpensive and runs quiet. I have had several different remote control tower room fans and every one has developed issues. Bearing issues which cause notice, dust collecting that is hard to clean unless you are willing to disassemble the fan and I even had one fan where the remote system of the fan failed. This fan does not have a remote so there are no electronics to go bad, it can easily be cleaned to get rid of dust buildup and it is quite. The only downside is that it does have a larger footprint for its base than the tower fans do.
