Works great! Nice to have size options.

Good working button maker, but check your box. Mine came with a missing screw. Not a big deal, as it still works, I just have to go to the hardware store & get one. Funny thing is the right side screw is there so at least I have a reference for head size & thread pitch. If it came complete with the screw I would give it 5 stars.

Easy and efficient

This thing is awesome! I’ve only used the smaller button size so far. There were a handful of wasted buttons but I was expecting that to happen until I got the hang of it. I discovered that if you do the second press too slow, that’s when part of the button wouldn’t seal fully. A quick, steady press does the trick!

Could be better

Product was easy to understand and worked well. The downfall came from the quality of materials the machine was made of. I set it about a foot away from my cooling down heat press and the plastic started melting!! Unfortunately I didn’t realize until too late and now there’s melted plastic all over the side of the machine. So. Would purchase again, wish the material quality was better.

Great Button Maker / Missing Items / Terrible Customer Service

I first need to state that this is a great button maker. It's well made, easy to use and very sturdy. I'm giving it a low rating for the reason that follows.... After a few days of testing and making several of the larger sized buttons, we switched over to the smaller size and discovered that the transparent protective films for the 25MM were missing from the box. The two options through Amazon were 1) return the whole item, or 2) contact the manufacturer. Since we already used quite a few of the supplies for the larger buttons, and it was only a small pouch of films that were missing, I decided to contacted Vevor. I worked with their customer service department via chat/email. They verified my order with Amazon and offered two options; 1) The would send the missing items from their supplier overseas with an estimated 2 - 3 weeks delivery time, or 2) Return the whole thing to Amazon. As I mentioned above, I did not think that a total refund/replacement was necessary since the missing items were so small, so confirmed that I would wait for the missing films. 3 weeks later, still no replacement, but I did get an auto-generated email from Vevor stating that since they never heard from me, they would assume that the issue has been resolved and would be closing the ticket in 24 hours. I contacted them immediately and re-explained the whole ordeal. They responded with "I'm sorry that we can't contact the technical staff to reissue the accessories for you, please contact Amazon as soon as possible to refund you." So, now I'm back to square 1. I still don't feel right about returning an item that 1) I like, and 2) I have already used so much of the supplies. But I also don't think it's right that they will not work with me to find a solution. I've found that if I were to purchase the missing items, through amazon, it would run me $25+, so it looks like I have no choice but to send the whole thing back. WHAT A PAIN! And a total waste of resources.

Perfect Pin-Back Button Machine!

I've been wanting a button press machine for a while now and finally decided to go with this one because of the two different sizes and because it's black!! The press itself was pretty easy to assemble, it's made of hard plastic and metal and pretty sturdy. The four pictured buttons were the first buttons I made and they came out perfect - no problems in neither the metal backings nor the plastic backings (one thing though, when doing the bigger metal backings (2.25in), you have to put one of the green washers provided in the right lower mold, otherwise the top die won't be able to grip the metal backing correctly. This is ONLY for the 2.25" metal backing (the 1.25" metal backing will be fine without the washer). Also, your picture must be the same size as the mylar and not 1.25/2.25!! I make 1.75" and 2.75" circles in Photoshop and just place the image there, print them then use the circle cutter provided in the package, I adjust the blade then cut them out. I've only used the 2.25" circle cutter though, I've had problems with the smaller circle cutter so I don't really use it... instead I use scissors to cut out those smaller ones, but it's a little time consuming so I'll probably cut those in my Cameo. For the paper, I've used regular printer paper (28lbs) and cardstock (80lbs) with no problems. The top dies are easy to change between 1.25 and 2.25 - no problems there so far. The manual pretty much explains everything really well in steps, so you'll have no problems. Overall, it's a really nice button machine, I really do recommend it! So far I've made about 50 buttons in both sizes, I have had a few come out wrong due to a wobbly table (this is why it's important to have the press on a firm/stable table otherwise the buttons will come out wrong), but other than those all of them have come out perfect! (Update 1) to add photos of the buttons since I forgot to add them last time. Also, I was finally able to use the 1.25" circle cutter with no problem after switching the blade rotation to cut counter-clockwise (same as the 2.25" circle cutter) and I haven't had any problems cutting with them since. I've read many reviews saying they don't work, but they do for me! You just have to get the hang of it and you'll have zero problems cutting perfect round circles ????. (Update 2) I've made over 200+ by now and still going strong! I'm not going to lie, there are a few that don't come out right at times, but it's rarely when that happens and it'll usually be because I'm either not placing the items correctly or I'm not pressing down correctly/doing it too quickly....For all those reviews saying it doesn't work, you guys just don't know how to use it period lol.

My device hasn't worked 1 time yet even after all the "fixs" they told me and I've spent hours on this thing making video and pictures so they can make me try to fix it don't buy this brand button maker it's a nightmare

SO MUCH FUN!!!

I love this product! How did I not buy this sooner. It is so easy to make a button. I am not sure if it can make 1000 buttons, as it says it comes with 1000 pieces. So just guessing here at least 300 buttons bc it takes 3 pieces to make a button. But anyway I am just having so much fun right now. Buttons for everyone!!!!
