Measured runout at the Chuck jaw to be.0035. This is very acceptable for the DIY and woodworking hobbyist

Extremely unbalanced! It shook my new WEN Drill Press so violently that it was unusable.

I recently bought a new WEN Drill Press, and love it. But, it came with an old fashioned Chuck that requires using a key. So, I bought this WEN chuck and an Arbor to install in place of the one that came with the Drill Press. To my surprise, either this chuck, or the Arbor, or both are extremely unbalanced. Together, they shook my drill press so violently that it was unusable. I should have immediately removed them and returned them. Unfortunately, I wasted weeks trying to communicate with WEN Customer Service and the retailer where I bought the Drill Press. Finally, I decided to remove them and install the original OEM Chuck and Arbor to see if the problem was actually the Drill Press. Well, with the OEM Chuck and Arbor installed, it ran buttery smooth. Perfect! Sadly, by then it was too late to return this Chuck and Arbor to Amazon, so I am out nearly $50. ( It should be noted that WEN does not sell an Arbor that can attach this Chuck to my WEN drill press, so the arbor was another brand. ) I have no way to tell which caused the problem, but my knowledge of engineering and physics suggests that the violent shaking was more likely caused by the chuck.

Can’t get it to fit! Am I missing something?

Tried to contact the seller for help, no answer. It’s a Wen product, doesn’t fit my WEN drill press. Or I can’t figure it out. But the lack of d response is what I don’t like here.

I finally found the right keyless chuck for my Delta bench top drill press, after thinking it was a Jacobs 3. It turns our that no one stated this size around in dimension only the designation which is JT33. Very pleased with the delivery and working of the chuck.

Can't believe I didn't get this sooner!

There is nothing to dislike! Fantastic drill chuck. Only a quarter turn and the bit is ready to drill. My only question is why Wen doesn't put this on all of their presses on the assembly line? Absolutely worth the money and I highly recommend getting this chuck!
