Worked Great!

I purchased this as a cake decoration and it worked perfectly! I was skeptical because there weren't many reviews but the quality was great and it came in the original packaging. I ended up painting it gold to match the theme and the spray paint stayed beautifully. Would recommend!!

Amazing, we had Harry Potter Spirit week at my clinic. I ordered this thinking it would be fun and it definitely was. All the patients loved it, got them engaged with our teams shenanigans. Easy setup and makes me smile. Now has a permanent home in my gaming room.

Great Fun for HP Fans

Bought this for a Harry Potter themed birthday party. The kids loved being sorted into houses. It does sort randomly. Make sure to pull the switch on the inside of the hat so that it is in full mode and not "try me" mode. Otherwise the hat talks in English and French. Also turn it off when not in use because the battery dies really fast and starts sounding creepy when left on. Still a great buy. The sorting hats mouth moves and everything.

Perfect for a harry potter party, sounded like the sorting hat from the movies, mouth moves as it goes through a variety of sayings and sorts them into houses.

Box was crushed

I bought it at a lower price but it didn't say the box was crushed, it was so bad that I couldn't give it as a gift to add to a collection. Otherwise it's a great wand and seems to be of good quality. Just wish it would have said in the description the damages. Too late to order another.

Excellent product! I bought it for a Christmas present and I am sorry I didn't buy two (one for me!). Can't wait to see the reaction on my friends face when she unwraps it at Christmas!

Good fun but expensive hence less stars - get it on offer if you can

This is a good idea and great fun but its expensive for what it is. We got it on an offer and it was for a party as well so not so bad but it is very expensive for what it is. Fairly sturdy easy to use and you can just pull the hat down and it will start without pressing the button. Also speaks in French - this seems quite random it tells you in English then in French straight after like a French translation! Only had it a short time so can't comment on how long battery lasts or anything. Its not something you would use all the time but fun for parties!

A hit with adults as well as children

Bought as a birthday gift for 6 year old boy who has just discovered the world of Harry Potter. He loved it as did the adults at his party who were desperate to find out which House they'd be in. Who would have guessed there were so many closet Slithern fans! Well worth the money for that day alone but I was impressed with the quality. My most successful gift so far.....
