Awesome knife block.

Awesome magnetic knife block, build quality is great. Magnets are very strong and hold knives very well. It is worth mentioning that magnets are holding only on the facing side not on the back.

Call that a knife?

So i have to call bullpucky on this being a 7 knife holder. Guess if you had some smaller paring knives then... yeh... maybe. But it will hold 5 very nicely. Just two thoughts on it: it needs to be 1” taller or more for 9” knives and the Lip on the face needs to be lined with a metallic surface to keep knife tips from embedding into the bamboo and then potentially getting bent or broken. Otherwise a really nice way to display and use your knives.
