Disappointment, huge loss

I ordered these because they were the same brand, color, and looked exactly like the ones from work. BUT, I was very disappointed; first off, there were no smaller number to purchase, which frustrates me because now I am stuck with a huge box of ineffective earplugs. These do not block out noise at the same level as the ones from work. When squished to put in my ear, they don't fluff out quickly, and throughout the night I have to keep stuffing them back into my ears. I didn't understand how they could be 3M but not be the same quality. I had visitors and I was very busy so I missed my window of return. I just dont understand why they did not work as well.

the earplugs are great for larger ear canals. only issue is that the material gets very soft after a few uses so that the fitment isnt as tight. maybe because i live in a humid environment i have this issue

I was a little apprehensive to buy yet another foam earplug, primarily for cutting road noise when motorcycling, but I'm glad I did. I've tried lots of others to varying degrees of success, but for whatever reason -- cavernous or misformed ear canals, etc. -- most of them just wouldn't fit right or stay in my ear. These do a really great job, I'm guessing because of the ribbed "grippers" they have. They seem to be just a little longer too than others I've tried, so maybe that allows them to go further into the ear and seal better. Anyway when worn properly they clearly make things MUCH quieter, for me, than others I've tried. I also like having the connecting string option; that may or may not work best for all applications but the user can decide. I just wish they weren't "day-glo" yellow. Not sure why it's so important that they are so visible!

Best foam earplugs for large ear canals.

I have tried almost every earplug out there. These are the best foam earplugs on the market if you have a very large ear canal. They block out noise amazingly well, and they are the only earplugs that are big enough for my large ear canal. They are quite comfortable for me. However, if you have a smaller ear canal, these will probably be uncomfortable for you. My wife tried them and found them uncomfortable, but she has small ear canals. I carefully remove the blue cable and wear these while sleeping or when using loud machines like lawnmowers.

great value if using these frequently - Lots of use for Stanley Cup playoff as decibels exceed 100 frequently. Work well. Compress, insert, allow about 30 seconds for them to re-expand a bit - voila - sound suppression.

Usually use these for shooting and they work great. Took them to the tractor pull and sat front row, ears were safe even though the sound rattled my teeth
