Very cute and well made, challenging for kids

This is a nice kit that yields an attractive little bag, but no way can young child complete this. I had to make the bag for my 8 year old granddaughter. Pushing the leather ties through the small holes was impossible for her little fingers and even a challenge for mine. We had a hard time following the stitching instructions for one of the accents, but using the picture on the box versus the instructions helped us figure it out. An adult or teen would be fine to make the bag, and a younger child could probably complete the stitching. Given the reasonable price for what turns out to be a nice bag, this would be a good purchase for a family craft project, just not something a young child could manage on her own.

Even a one-handed person can knit!

This is a great book! I'm paralyzed and always wanted to learn to knit. But how do you knit with 2 sticks and only 1 hand? you may ask. Well get , read, and follow the instructions in this book and just take your time and be patience and you'll be real happy on it's results - Now I can knit with a loom. :-)

I do not recommend this

I bought this for my 11 year old granddaughter because her dad loves origami and I thought they could work on it together. Dad could not do it so he sent it to me to try. We folded the paper for hours and have yet to come out with a flower. I would not recommend this

A little bit tricky, but it’s a beautiful little lamp

Put this together with my 7-year-old in under an hour. Very pretty result, but there are some possible issues. When you open the box, some of the items are loose and some are in a bag. After you remove everything from the box, look inside to see if the “plastic sheet” is stuck to the inside of the box like ours was. You need to place the fairy sticker on that plastic to make the silhouette. The kit includes two small glitter packets, but only one small craft glue packet. We only used one glitter packet. The glue packet only seems to be about half of what you need. Luckily I had my own craft glue to use when the packet ran out. You could probably use school glue, if that’s all you have. The instructions are helpful, so look them over before you begin. You receive two sheets of tissue paper that need to be cut into thin strips before gluing them to the outside of the bulb. I cut one sheet before starting to glue and we didn’t end up cutting the second sheet. When gluing them onto the bulb, try not to overlap the strips too much or you’ll have some dark spots.
