Doesn't imprint dark enough

No matter how hard you press down with a pen, it doesn't show up dark enough on the second (yellow) piece of paper

The small restaurant I work at purchases the single page guest check books. I prefer having a copy for myself and my customers and the separate kitchen check. There's not much I can say about these other than they do the job I purchases them to do! They transfer well onto the kitchen check and it's easy to read. I only wish they were a bit larger :)

I bought these for my 5-year-old nephew to use in his pretend restaurant; he's very into taking people's orders and writing it up like an official server, and these fit the bill! He's intrigued by the carbon copy, and these came with enough pads to handle even the most imaginative kindergartener out there. Would purchase again.
