Very short

It is shorter than I thought it was going to be, even when extended. You should note that the ends are slightly different sizes so if one side doesn’t fit, turn it around.

Finally! A Great Quality and Inexpensive Fix!

The two gutter pipes where my home roof gutter meets the underground pipe for the water to be taken away from the house started to move. Likely is the ground pipe starting to settle on a two year old house. I needed a quick solution such as this in a pipe that could easily flex, continue to flex as the settling continues, wasn't too long, and most importantly was inexpensive. After searching the two large home improvement stores, I couldn't find a piece like this that I thought would be sold everywhere. Amazon to the rescue for this pipe that was just a few dollars, arrived within days, and was perfect for the job!!!

The only thing that's worked for me

I had an underground drainpipe that subsided about 6" along with the backfilled earth around my new house as it settled. That disconnected it from the downspout. I tried several adapters purchased at local DIY and hardware stores, but none worked. I then found this flex elbow on Amazon and, voilà, a perfect connection between downspout and drainpipe. I'm surprised that the big-box and neighborhood stores don't stock this product because it was all that worked short of having a contractor install a new downspout that probably would have cost 20 times as much as the Flex Elbow. It did require cutting off 4" of the downspout with hacksaw and tinsnips, an unpleasant chore for an arthritic old man, but it was a labor of love, because it solved a problem that had been plaguing me for months.

Kinda short and comes off easily.

It was bent on the ends because it was shipped in an unpadded envelope, which made it tricky to get on and it kept popping back off, so I secured it best I could with bricks to hold it in place because it tries to come off if it moves even a little. It’s also a lot shorter than I thought it would be, not much longer than the brick as you can see in the picture, so it won’t do much for diverting where the water puddles. It feels overall like a sturdy material down the main body of it, less sturdy on the ends.

Put these on ends of new gutters! Much cheaper than Lowe’s. I highly recommend!

Easy to use

Needed an extension for my gutter, this arrived super quick. Super easy to install and very durable. Been outside in our cold weather without issues. My last one lasted almost 9 years.
