Dont let the bad reviews keep you from getting this adorable stool

I almost didnt buy this because of the bad reviews. Unfortunately there are going to be manufacturer errors when it comes to buying wood items. I would imagine its only 1 out of many that ends up having flaws. Mine is perfectly level. One thing that may cause people to have one that is not level could be tightening one side all the way before screwing them all about halfway in and then screw in one screw on the left and the screw parallel to it next and go down doing that until they are all done. Tightening them all on one side first could make it a little wonky I think. The screws were a little hard to screw in tightly with the wrench provided but luckily we had a wrench that made it much easier but if you dont it is still do-able. The color and steps are perfect. Just the right about of varnish where they wont get splinters, and the grip on the step made with the grooves is a nice touch. The price of this stool for what you get is a great value.

Slides on wood floor

This stool is very cute and easy to put together but it needs non slip stickies on the bottom. Slides too easily on wood floors.

Good but rocked

Very cute and sturdy. Love that it is wood. Was easy to put together. But like other buyers we did have a bit of a rock. I just added some little felt circles to the bottom of two feet and that fixed it.

Was not easy to assemble with the toll they send if you have your own should be so bad. Cute we use it for the sink.

The screws were super tight so it wasn’t super easy to put together but it’s sturdy and works great.

Wobbly and poorly drilled

While the individual pieces are decent enough quality, the build quality overall is poor due to bad drilling: the holes in the pole were too small, while the pairs of holes in the steps were a different width apart than in the edges. This made it extremely difficult to assemble, as you're having to screw flat end screws into wood with a 3" allen key. The wonky holes also mean that the fully assembled stool isn't flush with the floor, giving a little wobble whenever it's used. Not enough to be unusable, but any wobble isn't ideal for the intended users.

très pratique

Très pratique et joli. Ce banc permet à mon petit garçon d'être à la bonne hauteur. Il est solide également. Le seul bémol est que j'ai eu de la difficulté à visser un coté de la barre en dessous... le trou semblait mal percé. sinon je recommande!

Sturdy for a 2 year old

Putting the stepper was a little difficult for the dowl that is in the center of the stepper. Needed another allen key wrench to hold it in place while tightening with the supplied wrench. Looks like. Light enough for our child to move around.

Perfect little stepper!

My little girl always wants to help with dishes or making dinner. She also loves washing her hands and wasn't able to reach the faucet. This is sturdy, cute and the little ridged design is slip resistant. She is so happy, it looks cute and just what we needed for her.

This is a great little stool, really Sturdy and very easy to assemble, took 5 mins. This is a good company, I have purchased other items from them before. Would recommend!
