Sturdy hooks

Only had issues because I wanted to install them with a drill and the hook sticks out enough over the drill holes so without an adapter for the drill it was awkward to install.

Easy to install

These holdbacks were easy to install. The ball does come off which allows you better access to install the holdback. The main rod and ball are not made of the same material, the ball is plastic. When I first took it out of the package I was a bit disappointed and considered sending it back. With it being plastic, it’s lighter and will likely not cause sagging on the wall pulling the screws out, no one wants to deal with that. Once installed you can’t really tell that it is plastic because you pull all your other elements together and they fade into the background as just another detail that pulled it all together.

Love Bali products

did not rate a 5 star because was really expected bushed bronze which I could not find. But still very well put together for the price.

Relatively easy to install

I am using these to keep a 4' gate closed in front of the stairs and at the entrance to the kitchen. (I've got a 10 month old standard poodle puppy that can leap, and she's accidentally turned on the gas stove a few times.) I'm not using these for curtain tie-backs, but for a rope that attaches to my gates. Unfortunately, the "U" shaped portion of this bracket is hollow, and is not holding up to the occasional movement of the rope/gate and has bent somewhat. It will likely bend more, become brittle and eventually break. They should be mine for even heavy curtains, which is what they're intended for. Relatively easy to install

Don't judge until they are installed

When I first opened the box I thought I had made a mistake. They seemed filmsy and not quality but then I remembered I hadn't paid very much so I thought I would install them anyway to see if I liked them. I bought 4 sets and they would be holding back sheers.I was surprised how easily they installed. The anchors that was included again seemed subpar but they worked. you just need a measuring tape, a pencil and a drill. There wasn't any directions but I looked on utube mostly for placement. It took some time to adjust to the look of these holdbacks but now I love the look and my curtains look so much better on the rod.

Simple & solid holdbacks

A simple, solid curtain holdback. One tip for using the included hardware, if you're using the wall anchors, drill holes one size up from what the instructions say.
