Buying again to replace one fitted w/child seat no longer needed

Love this and coming back to buy another one and can’t believe what other reviewer said about “too much play”. I believe they just didn’t follow instructions and issue could be they just didn’t tighten Bolts enough! The bottom line is unlike other toilet seats, this model does NOT stain and take on the color of common toilet disenfectants and that makes my return to purchase again a no brainer.

Hinge connection has lots of play.

Planning on returning this item. Quick release connection was very easy to install, but the main hinge connection seat and cover has lots of play. Seat has side to side motion due to play in the hinge. Quick connection has a solid lock down and confirmed that play was in the hinge connection.

No Longer Slow Close - 9 months

This has been in use for 9 months - didn't make it to a year before the slow close spring quit. Now it slams down.

Not top installing

Advertised as bottom and top installing. The top installing is not totally top and requires going under toilet rim to secure. For those of us with toilets where there is no space under rim, this doesn’t work. So my toilet seat is just sitting unsecured in commode. Not good !
