Let's roll!

I've had this for a couple month's now. I have to survey and measure buildings for alarm, fire and camera installations and this product is perfect for my needs. I had one with a big, 16" wheel that broke. This product has much smaller wheels and collapses so it is easy to store in my vehicle and doesn't get in the way. The small, double wheels makes it easy and stable to roll. The arm extends long enough to make it comfortabe to roll it. The counter seems accurate, but for what I do, I don't need to be very accurate, so I haven't tested it against a known distance or measured the same distance twice, etc. Overall, this product seems well made and perfect for my application.

Ordered two for employees. Appears to work fine. I would have given 5 stars but the locks for extending the pole are not as sturdy as I would like. But no real complaints.

This product is good for indoor use

This product is good for indoor use. I purchased two of these to measure street and sidewalk widths, and both broke. I've used other similarly designed wheels, and inevitably, the handle locking mechanisms give out from normal wear and tear, but I've had no issues with the measuring functionality. This was just the opposite experience: the locking mechanisms are high quality, but the internal gears broke or became displaced after being used on hard, somehwhat uneven terrain. No issues with accuracy or comfort, just want to alert other potential buyers that this device may not be great if you need to use it extensively outdoors.

Good Solid Equipment

Good solid piece of equipment. We keep this is one of the work trucks for when we need to measure a worksite. This was purchased to replace an older version where the handle got stripped. but I don't see that being an issue with this model anytime soon.
