Fabulous shoes!

Let me start by saying that I can never wear much of a heel because my toes and ball of the foot always hurt. The most I can normally manage is about 1.5 inches. But these wedges are incredibly comfortable. I love how the elastic fits snugly to my foot. When I first put them on, the elastic was a bit too snug, but I figured it would stretch a bit, so I didn't worry about it. They have gradually stretched, but not dramatically, which is great. These shoes are so hot looking; walking around in them, I feel like a million bucks, and since I can't normally wear shoes with much of a heel, these make me feel tall (I'm 5' 1"). The only down side of this shoe is that if they are very snug when you first get them, you have to be careful that the individual elastics in the strap that goes over the instep don't get twisted when you put them on. I had to keep untwisting mine until I learned to place my index finger under the strap while putting them on, moving my finger across the foot to smooth the strap from underneath. This is easily done, and it keeps them from twisting. I had the benefit of trying these on in a store to get the right size. As it turned out, the store didn't have the combination of style, size and color I wanted, so I wound up ordering them here. The sizing is European. I wear a 6 1/2 - 7 med width and I take a 36 in these, which is a size smaller than the salesperson in the store thought I should wear. This brings my heel right to the back and my toe up almost to the very front. The 37 is a roomier fit, but they slipped in the back, which I didn't like, and I figured, if they stretched a fair amount over time, then the 37 would eventually be much too big. The store where I tried these on had them on sale for about $60, and I was happy to find them for the same price here. This is one of the nicest, most unique pairs of shoes I've ever owned. I can't wait to order them in different colors and styles. This won't be my last pair of Bernie Mevs!

Narrow toe area.

Beautiful shoe but not the right fit for my feet. Unfortunately, the toe area was very tight for me. Had to return.

Classy shoe!

This was my second Bernie Mev shoe and I love it! I typically wear size 8 - 8 1/2 W and did as recommended for this style and sized up to a 40, which I returned because the length was way too long and just a sloppy fit. While I have found that a 39 in Bernie Mev is my perfect fit, in the Silver Gray of this style, the shoe is just a little tight because of the metallic thread and my big toe is right at the edge of the shoe. I am still breaking in the 39, but love the dressier look of the Silver Gray with a pair of jeans or dress. Love the wedge heel for added height, without adding stress or pain to my big toe joints! I also own this style in the Coral color, size 39, and it's a perfect fit.

Comfort wins over sex appeal

The right shoe is a bit larger than the left. I have never had this happen in a pair of shoes so it is not my feet. However, I have never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. I usually wear a shoe with a little more "sex" appeal but the platform and wedge of this shoe raise me similarly to the high heels I am accustomed to and with much more comfort. The styling still leaves the shoe looking cute.

Comfortable city shoe

Very comfortable, good grip on sole treads for sidewalk walking ( even in the rain) and comforting insole for walking & standing. Straps on top and sides are comfortable.

Adorable and stylish!

Foot wear doesn't get more comfortable than this. Unfortunately, a piece of the strap came unglued instantly. My friend has had a pair for several seasons and hers are flawless. These are truly a great foot friendly shoe - chic styling casual or dressy - and I highly recommend them!

Have had this type of shoe before , I find them very comfortable as were these . I have a hammer toe and the peep hole at front accomadates this wonderfully . As its so hard to get a comfortable shoe .

Necesitaría que alguien me diga cómo puedo saber si son originales, aunque más bien creo que no, desafortunadamente fueron usados antes de darnos cuenta que el botón de atrás y la plantilla no parecen ser los de la marca original, además de que el estampado de la marca en la plantilla tampoco es lo que representa un artículo original. Me disculpo con el vendedor si acaso estoy equivocada pero esos elementos mencionados me hacen dudar de su autenticidad.
