I love this wash. It foams up really nicely and it makes your skin feel extra clean when your face dries. Make sure to moisturize!

Worse reaction ever!

I used this product twice (morning and night). And it gave me the worst allergic reaction. Before using this product my skin was clear. Now I don’t even have the confidence to show my face in public. This product broke my skin out with aggressive pimples that are tight,sore and hot. I only used this for one day, but this product has ruined my skin. I was very excited reading the positive reviews, having seen this product recommended as one of the best pore cleansers. Please be aware that it can cause severe reactions. Always test it before using on your full face. I would have given this no stars if that was an option.

Blindingly good.

After running a hot bath in my hotel room after a long day at the depot fiddling under a bus, getting filthy dirty with mud from Brighton roads, (most of it being on my face, of course) with my products nicely lined up on the side of the bath, including Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser...200ml and other body and hair cleansers, I was ready for my ablutions. It was my first time using this lovely black gel and I was quite excited about crawling into bed after this ridiculously hot bath with the promise of glowing and ultra clean facial pores from from my Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser...200ml. This is what happened......I decided to save the best till last so I used the shampoo, (hotel supplied)....this was quite a quick process as I don't have any hair so I moved onto the hotel supplied Rose scented body wash. It was pink but that was about it in regard to it being anything to do with roses, and about as viscous as water which ran straight through my fingers, so I was fairly disappointed with this quick process too. Oh well I thought, it's free and there are worse things to worry about, and moved on to the Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser...200ml. With great enthusiasm I pumped 5 squirts of the lovely black goop into the palm of my hand and rubbed them together expecting to get a mountain of foam......it did lather a little but I wasn't too worried about this aspect, it's how clean my face was going to be is the important aspect, I surmised. So I rubbed both hands onto my face and swirled them about in face cleansing motions only suddenly to be struck like what i imagine being struck like lightening would be.........excruciatingly searing burning pain in my eyeball sockets, eye balls and anything else to do with eye area. I seriously thought about running screaming naked though the hotel hallways screaming my f@ head off. Trouble was, apart from it being a really awful site for onlookers, I couldn't take my hands away from my eyes. All I could do was hope for the pain to subside or death. This was what I think hell is like. After what felt like the rest of the evening in the bath writhing about not being able to do a thing except hope for speedy death, I finally managed to stumble out and turn on the cold tap on in the sink and gently splash my bloodshot volcanic peepers from hell. Slowly the pain subsided with continuous splashing until there was only a severe pain that felt like only menthol, alcohol and sand dunes in my eyes and not lava any more. This is a lot better, I thought. An hour passed after some Ibuprofen that didn't help much, I noticed that my facial skin was actually feeling quite nice. There was also a nice tingle to my skin. On the upshot, I do believe that this Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser...200ml is really a nice product, if used correctly, avoiding the eyes. I recommend it, one pump and not in the eye area.

Really pleased with this - but be careful!

I bought this after finding out my forehead's skin barrier was likely damaged. Ive always had a spotty/red forehead, and Ive tried endless cleansers to help clear it up. A friend recommended a "deep pore cleanser" and stumbled across this. I've always found charcoal makes my skin feel great so decided to give it a go! My forehead has cleared right up in 3 weeks use. My skin has never looked clearer! I don't have sensitive skin usually, but this stuff does seem to have a tingly sensation to it, and I've found my skin can go a bit red if I use it every day. I use it every other day now, and it's suiting me much better, so be careful if your skin is sensitive!

Ouch. I have only used this face wash twice and it has dried my skin out terribly also really stung and caused a rash. Do not use this Face Wash if you have sensitive skin.

Ideal for combination skin.

This face wash is great for combination skin - after two weeks of use, my skin looks clearer, brighter and I’m getting less break outs. I’ve noticed the oiliness has reduced around my forehead and nose area, my pores look a little reduced also. It makes my skin looks lots fresher in the morning. This face wash lathers well and has a nice gentle texture to it, ideal for sensitive skin and leaves skin feeling incredibly clean and fresh. I do find that it can make my face a little dry in some areas, however I just use a good moisturiser alongside this. My skin doesn’t feel harshly clean or super tight after using, I’ve found this with some other face washes - I don’t get that with this, my skin just feels clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this product, it’s a must have for me - highly rated.
