I generally love BB products but this moisturizer smells so strong it's unbearable. I have a hard time believing this is truly for sensitive skin with so much fragrance. My husband refuses to use it on our infant because of the smell, so I'm stuck with 3 tubes can't use.

It’s worth it

My son is 21 months old and we have been using this moisturizer/lotion. His skin is very sensitive and little but on the dry side. This lotion totally suits him. Must buy !!

3 big bottles, non-greasy, works great, smells bad

Using the subscribe and save with Amazon Mom makes this product a very good deal compared to in-stores. Previously, we used Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Moisture Cream, Fragrance Free. With the subscribe and save, the Burt's is cheaper and we believe it works better. Pros: -There are 3 large 6 oz bottles that come in the package. -When applying it to my daughter's skin after a baby, it does not leave your hands feel greasy like some of the cheaper lotions. It's thick, but easy rubs in to her skin. -Her skin feels soft and moisturized - never had any issues with dry or irritated skin. Cons: -I think it smells funny. Not necessarily bad, but not pleasant either. The smell goes away within a few minutes so it doesn't really bother me. I'm more concerned with how well the product works, but I do find it strange that there's a mix of reviews who LOVE the smell and those who really don't like the smell. Perhaps you might enjoy the smell, but I don't find it enjoyable. Summary: It's a good price, the product works well, but stay away if smell is an important factor.

Great as a face moisturizer too!

I have quickly grown to love this lotion. The "Original" has a subtle scent that I consider to be slightly sweet and love. The product says it is phalates, Paraben and Petroleum free. It does contain some items I'd like to look up like phenoxyethanol and lactoperoxidase as 2 of the last ingredients. The first listed ingredients are water, glycerin, decal cocoate, sunflower seed oil, beeswax and Shae butter. Then comes the stearate and cetyl alcohol (why must alchol be in lotion one wonders?), followed by a group of pleasant sounding oils and natural extracts. In a pinch, when staying a very dry mountainous climate I applied the lotion liberally on my face and it worked great with no resulting break-outs or greasiness. The texture felt so nice on my skin it seriously may be feasible to stop splurging on Lancome face cream! This Burts Bee's lotion is great for massaging growing baby's limbs after baths. Hubby, sister and and I all love snuggling her with the pleasant scent and non-greasy texture of the lotion.

It keeps my baby's skin super soft even in winter

I like this cream for my baby. It keeps his skin super soft even in winter. Somehow, for us, this works better than the camomile or lavender one. Also it works better than the Burt bees baby lotion that comes in the pump bottle (that one is more liquidy and may be a different formulation). We use this in conjunction with coconut oil without any problems (may be that's what makes his skin so soft?). He gets a coconut oil massage first, then a bath and then this cream. On super dry days I apply some coconut oil to his skin even after his bath and then after its absorbed, top it up with this cream (like a sealant that keeps moisture locked in the skin). I have tried coconut oil by itself (without this cream) and it's not the same.
