Naturally Strengthened Hand, Avoided Dr.'s Needle
I bought a bunch of equipment to keep up my occupational therapy at home and this is one of my favorite pieces. I suggest this for anyone who is having problems with: hand grip, numbness/tingling in hands, or wrist pain when pressure is applied to hands (ie push ups). I have carpal tunnel & ganglion cyst in my wrist. One doctor told be to have the cyst drained, the other suggested the therapy. I'm happy I went with the therapy. Strengthening my hand has relieved nerve pressure on my wrist and reduced the size of the cyst, it's all but gone now. This is a great alternative and natural way to strengthen alling hands/wrist.

Alternative to stress ball
Consider that most all exercise with the hands involves gripping; from eating to weightlifting. I believe that as you get older the flexor muscles of the hands get overbuilt, leading to hands that cannot uncurl easily. So its quite beneficial to get the opposing muscle groups strengthened. So as I look at my elderly relatives, I get determined to do what I can to keep flexible and balanced. At the office, I pick this up and run through a set of exercises...works great for limbering up the hand and fingers. I'm now developing some new extensor muscle strength...seems to help with keyboarding, and guitar. Have less pain at the computer. All good. ---geoff

Professional tool
Broke my ring finger, needed surgery and after that OT. This is one of the tools they used to get my hand back to baseline. I finished with OT, but I continue to use it at home to bring my hand back to baseline.

seems to be helping
I am an LMT and have had some issues with my wrists on and off for over a year now. I have noticed that using the device daily is helping with the pain and fatigue in my hands. Can't say it is a magic cure, but I am motivated to keep using it. Maybe I will continue to improve over the long term. I am sure this would be great to help prevent injuries like mine.

Good product but not for small hands
This is a helpful exercise product because it works on finger extension, but I would just like to note that it is more effective with "normal-sized" adult hands. I tend to have very small hands/fingers, almost child size; so I don't get the full benefit in range of motion, and it is a bit awkward for me to hold/manipulate. Good product though; so I am going to donate mine to an occupational therapy clinic.

Best Bang For Your Buck
I'm so happy I found this product. It saved me from having to buy the Clinic Set (four times the price). You get one plastic gripper mold with interchangeable rubber bands that provide four levels of resistance. I bought this for a family member who had a stroke. It has really helped strengthen the fingers on their effected hand. I like playing with it too. It made me realize how weak my pinky fingers were. It's a little awkward to use at first. For best results, don't insert your fingers too far. Great product!
