Makes Great Iced Tea

First time buying this brand. Item works very well. The glass pitcher feels sturdy, not thin and flimsy like others I've had. Would recommend this product.

makes good tea

I like the way it looks. It makes good tea. Its easy to clean. My only worry is the glass pitcher seems thin to me. I'm very careful about how I put the ice in. I don't just drop the ice. I hold the pitcher at a slant at my ice maker on the fridge so the ice will slide in instead of just drop. It may just be my perception of the pitcher but I think it could break easily,

Easy to use, impossible to clean

I use this daily to make iced tea. I have to use bleach to clean the tea residue off the pitcher, filter and reservoir.

My First Electric Tea Brewing Machine- Capresso 623.02

I wanted to try loose tea and get away from t-bags and the flavor of paper. After looking at a number of machines I decided upon the Capresso 623 coming with a glass pitcher. I felt that plastic might be more durable, but that glass for the pitcher might be better for flavor... and that was the main goal. I wanted to make tea with great taste and aroma. My first effort at loose tea brewing with the Capresso was a resounding success; however I must say the pitcher looks to be quite fragile and thin walled. This machine makes a lot of tea and very quickly. It is easy to use but will take some trial and error to get it perfect. The tea mixture possibilities are unlimited. I went with Lipton black with orange pekoa flavor. The controls are simple, the instruction booklet is a bit strange. But yeah, we're happy so far.

Pitcher broke quickly

The machine is great! Love how easy it is. However, the pitcher is garbage. The bottom just feel right off it while in my hands. Tea every where. I am trying to find either a stronger glass or plastic pitcher to replace it. However, it takes a specific size due to the lid. Ugh! Such a mess
