Should last a looooooong time.

I bought this to replace a virtually identical one I have been using for almost two decades on a commercial grade BBQ (which was still kinda usable). Super heavy duty bristles won't get every last speck of food residue off your grates, but that's never been an issue for me as I simply burn off what's left. If you have cast iron grates, the bristles are strong enough to scrape off flaking rust and baked-on gunk -- which would destroy Brillo-pad style scrapers. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny if you intend on grilling for a long time and/or have rough / cast iron grates (and don't need perfectly clean grates before grilling).

Sturdy product and worth its price

Sturdy as all hell and really takes a beating, we have a commercial kitchen and you can imagine how much we use it every day and night..... typically one of these last us for about 2-3 months before the grates come apart which is phenomenal
