Had to make some adjustments but worked just fine.

Keeping in mind that there are $300 versions, I bought this one knowing it might not be a professional model. After reading some other reviews I learned that the springs can allow the wheel and tape to wobble a little. So my two simple modifications were to go to the hardware store and replace the two springs with washers (there were some stronger springs but washers worked better) and the two nuts holding the wheel on with wing nuts. I knew that if I was doing multiple courts of basketball, volleyball, or soccer that I would need to change the tape many times. The wing nuts made this much faster. The washers squeezed tight and there was no wobble like on my test runs. The two pictures are the most difficult taping jobs. One is with vinyl tape that does flex but a tight turn of a soccer corner kick. With pressure, it worked perfectly. The second is taping a soccer mid-field circle with PAINTERS tape. it did not rip or wrinkle. So yes I had to add money for the modifications but it was well worth it. I did a total of 16 volleyball courts and 8 regulation futsal soccer courts with no complaints.

The person who designed this never used it... couldn't have.

Worst designed tool I have ever purchased. To put it together (with a roll of tape on it) as shown in their picture, you would have to cut the axle sleeve down because it barely fits inside the frame without the down tubes. Lots of wobble to the roll of tape the way it is built. And changing the roll quickly on site... not going to happen. Spend the extra money and get a good one. We're keeping this one, but I am going to have to do some major reworking on it to make it truly usable.

Very easy to use!

The instructions are not clear to to put it together but it’s not hard just need to figure out the sequence. Once it’s together it is so easy to use. I have never used a tape machine and look at the final result on my picture.

The idea of this item was so you can put down a straight line of tape for lines on a tennis court for painting but it does a very poor job. 2 inch roll of tape wanders back and forth, the centering springs on each side of tape are so weak the roll wanders back and forth on spindle, so you end up doing the tape on knees kneeling down and looking at the machine and saying that was a wasted 60 bucks.

works well, but reloading the tape is really annoying. you have to unscrew a couple of nuts and unmount the shaft and reassemble it after

Don’t buy. See Bill P review dated November 2019. Defects still exists.

No instructions. Really, just the cost of a piece of paper. The roller sleeve does not fit! Simply a horrible product.

Terrible, waste of my time.

Terrible product, tape wobbles and lays down crooked. You have to disassemble the entire product to put on a new roll of tape and it’s not easy. Engineers need to go back to the drawing board.
