Not the correct color as advertised!

We originally wanted the white ones.. but they didn't have them in a XL, so we went with the black and green.. okay. We get them in the mail today, they're grey and blue! Luckily they are worn under the football pants so color doesn't really matter... but just a little heads up in case someone does really order these based upon the color! They are NOT black with green stitching, but they are in fact grey with blue stitching. Other than that they seem true to size.

This product seam is already unraveling. I had to sew them back up and 1 other spot has a small hole so I guess if these are used for 1 school season they're ok.

Great fit, but my legs are a bit longer than I thought.

Everything about this product is comfortable, the fit is really true to the measurements, but I didn't think my legs were as long as I thought, so the knee pads actually sit directly above my knee when they're bent.

Do the Job!

These are comfortable. After a season, they do receive a beating and the waist usually has started to detach from the pants. They need a quadruple stitching!

Tailored for a Hobbit

I'm only giving these 1 star because I feel like you'd have to have the shortest legs (thighs) for these to fit properly. I ordered an adult medium (and normally wear a medium: 6' 175lbs) and they are not very snug, like a girdle is supposed to fit (to keep the padding in place. The first picture is wearing them up around my waist (not very high). In order for the inner cup pouch to be in place it they need to be pulled up around your waist. But when I do that, the knee caps are up on my thighs...which is why I chose the 7 pad, knee cap, girdle over the 5 pad shorts without the knee pads. I bought these because I'm starting indoor lacrosse in a week and want protection for hitting the floor with my knees and I don't like worrying about a bunch of different pieces of protection. But, if you have "normal" length thighs, the knee caps will not protect your knees at all (second picture is my knee bent, with the pads over my knees...showing how low I'd have to "sag" them in order to cover my knees. I gave it 2 stars because the quality of the material and seams seem to be good, and I like that the crotch is breathable. Also, be warned: the pads are fairly ridgit and are NOT preformed. So, you will have to break these in before game use. But these are tailored for a Hobbit.
