I knew that I made a good purchase when the dog trainer had the same pouch.
The professional dog trainer applauded me for having chosen a good training treat pouch, as it was the same one he uses. The reason I really like this training pouch is that It stays attached to the hook that clips to your belt, I have a larger one from a big pet store chain that comes off the plastic hook all the time and is very hard to get reattached, nothing like pausing a dog walk for 5 minutes to reattach the pouch to the hook so you don't have to carry it. The capacity is not huge, but unless you are going to be giving out a lot of treats it is fine. If I am going to need a lot of treats I just bring a zip lock bag containing extra treats. The only time this is a problem so far is certain Obedience Class days where we go through lots and lots of treats.

Almost perfect training treat bag, but add retention
We frequently walk our dogs off lead on our 80+ acres and having the treat bag on us for reinforcement of recall training is FANTASTIC. The drawstring is easy to open and close to keep leaf and pine needle debris out. Only problem is I do occasionally knock it off my belt, so I do use a retaining cord that I tied to a belt loop so if it does come off my belt I don't need to back track a quarter mile to find the bag. We have 3 of them. only problem is you don't get to pick a color. We have a blue and two reds, if that matters to you. We ordered them individually over the course of 3-4 months. Colors were random. Definitely worth it!

Makes Training Easy!
Before I started fostering a dog, I knew I needed to get a treat pouch for positive, force free training. I was skeptical that this one would be good because it was cheap. However, it has been PERFECT. I use it every time I leash up my pup to reinforce her sitting on cue, teach new tricks, and lure her away from distractions. We lost the first one, and I didn’t hesitate to order a new one right away! I looked at a pet store but didn’t like how bulky their pouches were and more expensive too. For me, this is essential for training and rewarding my pups!

It works
I don't have anything overwhelmingly satisfying about this. It seems to be good quality and I love the clip to hook on my belt but t's awkward to use. Even with the cord all the way open you have to wiggle your hand in the bag to get the treats which makes the reward delayed during training. It holds quite a bit of treats which is nice but I would rate as just so so

Only holds1 cup
It’s important to know it only holds 1 cup! We use their kibble as treats for training, so it’s the perfect size for us. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because one of the bags was missing a clip. Since we are in training classes, we do not have the time to exchange them. I would definitely recommend this product.

Worth every penny.
We have used this for training our now 3 month old Great Dane puppy. It’s easy and convenient. It stays on my pants, purse strap and husband’s belt. No issues. I love that when you close it there is still like a perfect little shelf/pocket that it makes. So when it rains I can keep the treats dry. Or when we are potty training I can close the bag and put a few treats on the closed part without risking all the other treats falling out.

Finally Broke Down to Buy Bag #2
First bought this bag about 5-6 years ago to hold peanuts for the goats. Eventually, the inside liner started to tear, so I cut it out. The external part of the bag is still fully intact, no tears or rips, the clip is still perfectly functional. The only reason I had to break down and buy a replacement bag is the peanuts keep getting caught up in the tie string, which also is in perfect order. This bag is so great! I think the new one seems a little smaller; it doesn't seem to hold as many peanuts. If the quality is as good as the original bag, we can manage.

Dissapointed
Drawstring frayed after first use makes it difficult to open and close.

Disappointed. Overpriced - Save your money.
Kind of disappointed. Partially my own fault, I did not read all of the details carefully enough. I thought it came with three totes. So I feel this item is very overpriced for what it is - $12 for one little drawstring bag is too much in my opinion. Also, in the bag I received - the drawstring is not sewn properly around the top edge of the bag - so the string inside slips down, so you cannot properly close the bag. When you tighten it, it closes the bag in the middle, so I will not be able to fill it all of the way. I also worry that the plastic clip on the back feels cheap, and will eventually snap off. The material itself seems to be decent quality, and it is a good size to hold treats for a training session. But I wish I had saved my money. I found a small camera case at the dollar store for $1.25 with a velcro belt loop strap on the back, which essentially can serve the same function as this treat tote.

Too small and no divider for different value treats
It's very small! Sometimes it's nice to have a simple design but I definitely miss having a dividing pocket for high value treats vs kibble. If everything is together it's too hard/slow for your fingers to differentiate, so now I have to put low value treats in the tote and high value treats in my coat pocket (which I don't love). Also, I have trouble pulling the treats out of the bag? Hard to describe but it might be because the bag is so small...not for large hands that's for sure! M

Nice, sleek pouch.
Great to find a 1 cup (smaller) size pouch. That and the sleek positioning of the belt clip makes this the least dorky treat pouch I've been able to find. Holds enough treats for 1 big dog for one long outing. Looks like the rope cinch is starting to fray after only a week though, hence the missing star.
